today there was another update of the client. The aim of this update was mainly to get rid of the "ghost characters" on the screen.
Other then that a bug was resolved that crashed the client for some players when playing a sound effect.
Another bugfix effects the settings of the error report sending. Its now possible to disable this properly. How ever I'd like to ask anyone to keep this enabled. The bug with the sound effects was located thanks to those error reports.
Sadly some bugs slipped in with this update. The attack marker of the characters is not visible anymore and for some players the client stops responding after playing some time. Both problems are currently investigated and will be resolved hopefully until the next update. written by Nitram on 29. January 2013 04:53 pm 
Bigfixes and Socketing Dear Illarionites,
just now we installed a new update of server, map and game content. Countless bugs have been fixed.
Furthermore, you can now use the magic blacksmith of your choice to remove socketed gems from an item, for a certain fee of course.

New client version (2.0.10) Dear Illarionites,
today there is a new version of the Illarion Client released. This version should resolve the problems loading the map. This bug caused that the map was not displayed after logging in or after switching levels.
Furthermore we hope to get closer to the bug causing the item containers (bags, depots) to fail at some point. Hopefully they work a little better now.
Another improvement is the fix of the automated error report system. The client is now able to send automatically error reports to mantis in case it detects a crash. Those error reports only contain the operating system, the version of the client and the details regarding the reason of the crash. Everyone who allows the client to send those information is helping to improve the client! New client version (2.0.9) Dear Illarionites,
today another update of the client was released. The most important changes effect the method used to hide and show roofs. This should look and work a lot better now.
Also a bug got fixed that caused the GUI to stop responding to mouse interaction after moving around items.
As addition there are 6 new music tracks created by the musician Marvin Kopp in the client. They will be added to the map soon. written by Nitram on 26. January 2013 10:11 am
Bugfix Update Dear Illarionites,
today we introduced several patches for different scripts, the map as well as server and client.
Dialogs will now be closed automatically when appropriate. Also the new Client Version 2.0.8.1 fixes a bug which resulted in incorrect map display after using ladders and the like. written by Vilarion on 20. January 2013 09:54 pm
