Currently offline Description of the character![]() elisende is a woman of very unusual height standing at least a head taller than tallest of men with broad shoulders and well-developed muscles from years of intense and secret physical training and combat with her father. Her upper-back length ginger hair is braided, her hair color an inheritance from her Norodaj Grandmother, She bears the evidence of Albarian royalty in her green eyes. Melisende's usual attire is a set of armor. She wears an unassuming helmet that has a single fin protruding from the top. For her top, she wears chainmail which extends out to her legs and parts of it are visible underneath a shorter gambeson that only extends to her knees. On top of Gambeson, she wears a chestplate, a collar plate, and gauntlets on her arms. Steel Greaves and boots cover her shins and feet. She finishes off her look with a long, flowing red cape that reaches down to her ankles, secured at the center of her chest with a buckle that shows Albarian insignia. Story of the character![]() orn as the only child of High King Alganshar Karnberra and Queen Erinn of Fennsworth at Albar in the month of Mas, her birth was seen by nobility as a bad omen. Her father King Alganshar was much more open-minded compared to previous Kings because King's mother was from Norodaj and he was born in Norodaj himself living there for some time before returning to Albar after the fall of Kharud. In addition to granting peasants rights that were unheard of until then in Albar King Alganshar trained his daughter Melisende in the art of combat these mixed with his other reforms angered the nobility to the point of rebellion. King Alganshar was murdered by nobles and Melisende escaped first to her maternal grandfather's city of Fennsworth, her grandfather Prince Gan-Kalahar offered her safety for the time being but soon he fell to the might of rebels and Melisende had to escape again this time to Lor-Angur, these rebel nobles called Riders in white by some followed after her and attacked Lor-Angur, Mages of Lor-Angur smuggled Melisende on a ship to a new island and told her to find refugee with their fellow scholars in Runewick. | ||||||||||
