Description of the character

A young man of unassuming appearance, lean but wiry, black-haired and swarthy, as the dwellers of Nubris are, who bask day in and out in the blazing sun. His dark eyes are attentive and penetrating, yet contrasted by the eternal, indifferent smile which he bears on his lips, as if he had no care in the world.

His modest apparel is composed of a robe of sheep's wool and sandals on his feet, as it is common among desert nomads. A wide-brimmed straw hat, pulled deep into his face, keeps the heat off his head and the sun out of his eyes.
