Update Fighting System and Monsters

Just found this thread.
I happened upon a red skeleton earlier today, there was no "sword" or "bow" graphics to show I was being attacked, neither where there any emotes to show I was being attacked using magic. My character just appeared to die while running away.

i was just training on demon skeletons adn i swear that twice they ran away from me. Was the aggro of mobs changed?
What happened alot was that the skeleton would come at me and then stop once it got within range of attack (i had a 2h sword so it stopped 3 spaces away) and at first i thought it was lag, and that they'd eventually come. But after a few times i realized it wasnt lag and i would move 2 diagnol spaces away so it'd have to walk further and i could get more hits. So i did this about 7 or 8 times and twice of these times after i hit them they took one or two steps back
So is this a bug or was the aggro changed so that we actually have smart monsters that run away.

I noticed that monsters's AI had changed as well since the fighting update. Sometimes as example, a bandit attacks my character, there is another one behind that watchs the fight, like if the bandit would hide my character, and when I kill the bandit then the other ones come off and attack my character, so then another bandit come off and watch, and it keeps on, but sometimes it dosent.
I hope I am clear enought

Yeah, bandits seems to like their new dodge
.
Anyway I noticed that the damages have had a slight modification, well they raised for both NPCs and characters. But it makes NPCs even stronger, and with the recent updates we keep getting them stronger compared to players, without changing their skill gain.
It is partly why fighting is hard to learn now, some character that dosent have perfect attributes for fighting can be unable to learn anything from mummys, but still being much too weak for skeletons. What it means, its that NPCs are too strong for the skill they give, and it can make some character "stuck", so that they cant train anymore.
The solutions to this would to either weaken the NPCs, or raise all of their skill gain, at least I think so..
Edit : Sword using NPCs are VERY hard to parry, Gloin is right.
