I agree with this: linear seems too 'perfect'.. this shield is twice as good... cost twice the price... However, I also don't think that the increase between different price groups should be so large. I think this because with exponential equations, either it will be too hard for newbies to make mon...

Though, I think a better solution would be something similar to Morrowind's siltstrider. That is, pa...

Not a huge fan of this suggestion. The main use of running would to be a time saver, which is ridiculous. I cannot think of a single reason why one of our characters would have the desire to run all the way from one town to another, unless for emergency reasons.

On a rather unrelated note, the signs read Greenbair, not Greenbriar.

Too subliminal to report as a bug, but should be brought up somewhere, methinks.

Out of the umpteen wipe threads around here, I have no idea where to post now. I read very little of anything that anyone else has posted. Call me ignorant if you will, but if I say anything that has already been said, I'm sorry. I once read a fictional anti-DnD story written by a religious extremis...

Old human dialects mixed with dwarven, elven, and some orcish words, and so, the now known common language has been formed. Humans speak the common language natively, sometimes influenced by local dialects. According to Moosilver, Common and Human is, indeed, the same. I don't think that this is un...

I think that if people know how to use magic, then they would already have an idea of how it works. Or at least a universally accepted theory. Who would delve into the arcane arts without even understanding it?

How do I think they should react? I think they should not do any of the things I already listed. The only way to succesfully play a thief is to hope that people are good roleplayers, and willingly give up their items. In other words, its impossible. When I tried roleplaying a thief, I was appalled. Even with some more experienced RPers, I was not met with cooperation. When I tried to steal some...

I would like towns to be spaced as far apart as possible, with many monsters in between. Perhaps more monsters the further out you go. The edge of town. A halfling stands here. He is small, even by halfling standards, and his girth also, which is unusual, for his people love to eat. His hair, equally thick on his feet as on his head, is not as dark as it once was, as if it had spent much time in the sun, and it had, as could be to...
