Alright, Elaralith, I have had enough!

Uhm...
What the heck is happening here? I can´t stand all this ooc complaining and insulting against the player of Elaralith (not only in this thread). If she/he has made mistakes or has broken the rules, why don´t you write an email to violations@illarion.org ? That way the GMs would proove her/his play right or wrong.
This "witch hunt" might be ok ingame, but it seems that some of you are acting very overeagerly in this case. And we won´t come to an end just by accusing each other for doing this or that.

Well, it is because she has brought OOC things into IC. Everytime she is surrounded/threatened by stronger people she logs out in fear of losing her skills. If says it is her connection, but it is never her connection when she makes tons of fires and kills 4 people, only when she is in danger, so I think that she is bsing us. Plus, she acts like her character OOC and acts smarter and complains about people's roleplay and it gets on everyones nerves. And if logging out when threatened is against the rules we would have reported her, but since it isn't we rant about her here.
If you assume so, this is a reason to write the GMs, because this is mixing OOC knowledge (oh my god, i might loose skills!) with ingame acting.
It may not be writen in the rules, but I can remember former cases were such behaviour wasn´t accepted. So stop complaining and let the GMs judge.

I think there´s nothing wrong with that. "Help! She´s smarter than mePlus, she acts like her character OOC and acts smarter and complains about people's roleplay and it gets on everyones nerves.

One thing about the Castle and flames and stuff.
It is possible to destroy stone with flames available to us in game.
These flames are magic and can be sumoned anywhere. However, burning may not destroy stone, not unless:
First you cast a normal fire, heat expands the stone.
Second, you cast an ice flame, cold retracts (whatever opp to expand) stone.
Thirdly, stone cracks. It's a form of erosion, plus this sand storm thing would be bad too, sand travelling at such a velocity against the castle will too erode the stone, but I guess the desert is too far away
Science is a dangerous thing! But would this have been common knowledge in medieval times?
Finally; I have a crap computer, or do I? Can you tell?

Well look at the SIZE of the magic flames.
Rock isn't just completely immune to heat, especially magic flames.
I guess it's up to your imagination to decide whether or not these flames can affect the stone, but it's not like that's the only way that fire ruins the rest of construction around there. There certainly needs to be some wooden supports and some adhesive that could melt.

It can't be up to the player's imagination, at least of the ones who is casting the flames. You don't have to be a scientist to see the outcome of that pondering.
I stick with my opinion that use a battering-ram, naturally a single person or even a pair couldn't operate one effectively, and thats better so.
@Grishnak
The stone would have to be heated for quite some time for it to expanding/cold reacting process to take place, it doesn't happen (at least as far as I know, feel free to correct if you know better) in a blink of an eye.

A "strategical" way to kill Elaralith ingame is to fight her one on one. Because two people don't cause so much lag for my poor computer.
When there is a crowd of people casting, using weapons that usually lags my computer to the point of disconnection.
Don't believe this? Ask Darlok. He was fighting my character one on one and killed her. Did I log off? No. I don't log off, my computer freezes and boots me out of the game.

A very clever way to fight your Character, really. This would insure that you will always win Elaralith.
My Character is strong, I dont think that many other can match him.
I, as the player, have also enouth experiance to decide a melee fight for me, if i really need to.
But i doubt that any averange Chracter has a chance agains your "tactic".
2 Shields, and a Combo-Spell-Attack (Paralyzis/Icefield).
You aint playing fair, Elaralith. You dont even want want to play fair in this case.
I personaly also dont belive your "excuse", you just did not log out, because you did not know that there is some Character who acutally is able to kill you behind 2 shields.
My Character killed your in one single blow, quite suprising for me too, there was not enouth time for your to even find the ESC Key.
Play fair, or leave. Thats all i have to say to you.

Darlok is the only one I know of who has ever gotton through her armor.
Yes Elaralith you know 2 ice flames is about enough to kill just about anyone, cast tons of flames seems kind of like powergaming, well the "burning silverbrand" i can see, but you don't need to burn down everywhere else like the tomb as well.

I fought her 1 on 1, it is really easy to beat her, I found out when I was dodging her. She has slow reaction time, and because as a mage she doesn't use a wand, she can't lock onto you. So you jump in a direction, then cast a powerful spell, jump in a direction cast another one.
Noter- you must use a wand in this as it needs to be done quickly and if she nails you will a paralisis spell it is over.
Also, if I was smart I would have used that strategy on her before, but I am an idiot.

Actually, Muten Roshi one time attacked Elaralith with a war axe; with Elaralith's ungodly parry and two shield combo, of course, no war axe can pierce the armor. She thought some orcs were doing it, so she said "Stop human orcs, I hate having to parry you with my wand." Talk about BS central, even I know that the most experienced parry master can get killed by just about anything without a shield, especially from a war axe held by the most experienced fighter in the game.
However, fists tend to work against shields very well; it doesn't make much sense, but you can roleplay it as if you were attacking her head or something too quickly for her to raise her shields. Iqloo managed to pull this off on her, and she had to heal like crazy. ^-^

Well I saw this chiense man on TV who throws a reguar sweing needle right thru a glass window and not shattering it but leaving a little hole. He was trained by his father who was some sort of special assasin for the government a while back, yes assasinating with a needle....go figure
Obviously it would not be something common but it does in a way exist in RL belive it or not..
