A little thought...

magic is powerful and should not be taught to just anybody who wants to learn, or soon all our common thieves and murderers will be magically profficient aswell....
How will you deem whether they are of good reputation or not, when you dont know half the people on the island?

Ah, but i do know half the people on the island. I also, evaluate their character, and i use my best judgement of them. And, if somone comes to me and talks to me about a certain person, then I will listen, and i will evaluate the members. So far, noone bad has joined. I know most of the people that have joined anyhow.

So far, since we have only had our school for a short period of time, we have a pretty good turn up. I am very pleased.

Members, who need wands, need to talk to me. I bought about 10 earlier today, so i have plenty for everyone. Also, Avrillon made us 1,000 mana potions for our guild. It has already been paid for by a donator, so, I need a teacher to pick it up if you see him...unless i see him first : )

((Dwarves hate magic, and halflings create disasters when they do magic...Dwarves and halflings are RPed as some of the worst magic-users...))

((But it's true, Grant. All of a sudden, half of the dwarves and hobbits on this island do magic and sometimes act more like orcs...here is the explanation for other races regarding magic:

Human - Decent at about everything, a little here, a little there.
Lizardpeople - Magic is uncommon, but those who practice it far from home have been known to be quite good.
Elves - VERY magical, and good with magic of all sorts. In fact, their swords last several times longer than others, because they are smithed with magic.
Orcs - Mostly fiery magic, but not too skilled...

((Elf would act just as any being fi hit by a lighting, claiming anything else is foolishness. Just because dwarves are great blacksmiths, it does not make us any more invulnerable to swords than than an Elf.

Elves - VERY magical, and good with magic of all sorts. In fact, their swords last several times longer than others, because they are smithed with magic.

Dwarves also use magical runes to craft items of power, you should not forget it.))

hhhm......i see nothing wrong with mages of all races. In fact, thats what makes our island unique and different than others. Other islands, dont like it, and are very frownful upon these things. I, however, and im sure many others, think that any kind of mage is okay, as long as they follow the
"guidelines to wizards"..... which i found in the library one day. Thats the books name by the way..if youc are to read it.

If Dwarves weren't meant to, how come they can?

If Halflings are meant to be disasterous, then how come they are able to suceed?

Its not bad RP until they have implimented whatever needs to be done about it.

Are stupid, show lack of understanding, lack of RP and above of all only a desire to create un-rp-uber-chars.

Regarding the Facts of Moonsilver, every Player should play along the lines of his race. If he cant, choose Human, they are not restriced that heavyly.

But most of all, some people still forget that this game is still ALPHA, be sure that the Magic System will change sooner or later.
So dont whine or moan about the evened abilies of the Races right now, they will be gone.

And now please, back to the original Topic.

If the Halfings like to play around with Magic, let them do it. But ensure that they are far aourside the town, when they blow thier little bodies with fireballs up.

Grant herion is hereby suspended from the school.

Grant killed me today by the tavern. I did NOTHING to him, except talked to him about his life...and how he could be hanging in the wrong crowds. He then comes up to me, and kills me! Crosis then revives me, and I casted him death. Later, he comes up to me, and starts attacking me again. He said:"I didnt kill you earlier. Now, you die!" He attacked me...then i ran for my life, going to the town......anyhow.

I have suspended Grant Herion for two weeks from our school. I will monitor him and his actions. If he cleans up his act, then he might be able to come back. He claims he is a servant of nagrun, whom helps moshran. I asked him if he worships demons...he replied something about how he helps servants of moshran.

This troubling human is falling into the wrong crowd. He may have joined with the blackstone cult, but im not sure.

don't you dare lie about what happened Nilo! You did cast jus kel on me and said to leave, you did it twice if my memory serves me. ((if someone would tell me how to get the log out I would prove it)). Nilo, I would never want to return to a "school" where if you disagree with the "headmaster" you would be attacked. The Magic Academy seems like a much better place to go to learn. There I am sure Headmaster Dyluck would not attack you for your beliefs. I would like to encourage all students here to leave this school and go into Dyluck's he is much more just, wise, and powerful. He will teach you and he will also give or sell you magic books for a cheaper price.

As much as I would love to see Lyrenzia working, I am attackign Nilo the "Headmaster" not nilo the Hobbiteer. SO Lyrenzia has no control over any of this unless they decide to be the rulers of all who are in town.
