Would I be welcomed back....? If so....then I shall return. In fact, I would be greatly honoured, soon I shall be in town far greater than I am at present, so I shall indeed be able to contribute to the Rangers.

I have a couple things to say...
Firstly, is it possible to skip minor rank quests? (i.e. I currently don't have a rank, so would it be possible to just go to the experienced ranger quest instead of the novice one, then the experienced one?) I know I can complete either of these feats, so I thought I would ask, to maybe save a little time. If not, I'd like to move on.
Secondly, in the event I cannot skip such a minor rank quest, I would like to ask for someone to witness my taking on the Novice Ranger Quest. Please get back to me on that as soon as possible.
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Cain Freemont

Sorry about that, but at least it saves the work of adding you again
Welcome back!
I agree that we should not make any solid contracts with the Hobiteers as of yet. We will both continue to support the battle for the town, and if the opportunity presents itself, fight alongside one-another though.
Edit: Cain, I think that if the person administering the test believes in your skills, it would be alright, but only for the first two tests. Korwin or Inioch may do it differently though, as they are in charge of tests.
B) Sometimes immediate action is required. We don't see a bunch of people attacking innocent citizens, light a campfire, gather the group and discuss.

A) If you don't like the way the guild operates, leave. Start your own guild, that way you may give rise to an army of hypocrites and wage war on Illarion.Roke wrote:There are two reasons The Rangers are not doing anything, two main reasons... here they are:
a) The leadership is ineffective and inactive. If the whole leadership was active, it would be effective though as we have seen in the past.
b) We, rather than approaching someone right when we see them plan things out, discuss with members from other guilds whom we have fought beside before in order to plan them out as well as trusted friends who can help us form a plan and ideas on how to neutralize these people.
B) Sometimes immediate action is required. We don't see a bunch of people attacking innocent citizens, light a campfire, gather the group and discuss.
I do not agree with Roke's points at all...I think that the leadership is doing an excellent job as much as is humanely possible (BTW: nice webpage
)....and how is it that the leadership is not active? I always see Korwin, Astral, and the others planning a meeting and such. Personally, I like the way the Rangers is being run right now and I don't see any "ineffectiveness"...
Good job leaders! Keep up the good RP!

Brendan joined the Blackstone Cult to get information on them. This is action that an individual took, all by himself to help ensure the safety of the town and its people Bumbol and you return him by putting him on a black list, saying he has a mirror. This ruined his reputation, no matter what you say. I think that you have some problems with The Rangers, insulting me, that is fine but when you drag other members of The Rangers into it you cannot expect to get a lot of respect, even a miniscule amount from me.

Roke pins an announcement to the wall
I would like to announce that I am leaving The Rangers. I enjoyed being a member and was always honored by the privlidge to be in the Guild. However, recent things that have happened, some things I have said, some tension I have sensed lead me to believe that The Rangers would be better off without me and I would be better off without The Rangers.
I would like to thank every Ranger out there... good luck with your future endeavers.

Dear Brendan,
There are many reasons why I chose to leave The Rangers, as you saw one of them was so there would be less tension in the guild. However, there were more. For example, I am a member of The Silverstar Merchants. They welcomed me with open arms, even when they did not have to and I believe it is time to repay them for the way they have treated me. Also, there are some things happening in town which, if I took action, may have hurt the reputation of The Rangers, if I do take action.
Thank you.

You will have to speak with one of the High Council Members (Korwin, Inioch Hope, or myself) online. They will ask you a couple questions about yourself, and then we will discuss it. After that, you can become a Ranger.
