Hello Josphe, you didn't seem to mention your point.
But if it is that you think Illarion should adapt the same system, it won't work very well here because these two games are very different. Illarion promotes roleplay MUCH more than Runescape. The problem lies within the players themselves. Eventually, we will try a system to completely eliminate random pks who kill for no reason from entering the game because we want roleplayers and not them.

No, I don't think that Illarion would follow RuneScape. Cos if it did, it'll be called RuneScape.
No, I'm just stating that every RPG has changes to them as time goes on. And I hope that Illarion will come up with a good PK system.

I have played Tibia and Ultima online so I have some experiences with PKs and I think I can find holes in the system to abuse the rules fast. In my opinion, the only possibility to reduce PKs significantly is to hinder PKs to get into the game. People like them most likely don't roleplay anyway, so if they can't PK, they tend to powergame, OOC-talk, spam, buguse and cuss. So if any system tries to reduce PK, but allows these persons to play anyway, they will ruin the game in another way.
Therefore we will take the aproach not to let them into the game. I look forward to these days, since almost 90% of my administrative work for Illarion is wasted for players, we never wanted to have. Therefore I would have 10 times more time to spend on the players I care about, when we achieve our goal. I don't care how many players play Illarion, I care what players join the game.

I wouldn't mind a fresh restart nor more GM's... It seems to be much needed here as I myself got killed for no reason as well.

i do too use the numbers for the age but what choice do we have? i personally dont think we should keep on working like this, i think all the players who are on here for the right reasons, would not care about the number as long as you get to continue RP-ing. But a really good arguement was the server crash, i dont know what to say about that...

i help pks sometimes but its only too get some danger into the game but i have stopped now
but the worst thing you can do if youre a pk is too log out when they catch you because
the game will lose rp then so i try not too log out if they manage too catch me and we mostly
only kill guys out of town so youre safe in town anyway i always die anyway so i have stopped thanks too that i got killed all the time but i have never killed anyone

I must Agree.. to this problem "at least" the first step is adding GM's
Despite the limits of power the gods have.. with the power of the gm's there are ways to stop people who break the law and punish them without having to kill them.
