Using titles for description.
Now we have this new title thing I have a question. Would it be alright to have a simple description in there instead of an actual title. I'm not thinking of pages but just a couple of words such as old man, smithy, sister / brother / father (religious) or whatever. My motive for asking is one of my characters is hard of thinking, and I would like to indicate that fact in some other way as well as in the way he acts. It's hard to RP a simpleton but fun, though some people think it's me and not him thats got the problem
. It would also allow a person with a trade to let every one know.
@ Ellaron
Instead of using the prefix command to indicate your title or character trait you should use the suffix command. !suffix (text) would allow you to indicate your character's name as well as a well known trait for your character, such as 'the slow' or something of this nature. This would allow you to be 'Ellaron the slow' or any other thing you wish to be known as. This would be more of a nickname or common trait associated with your character than a title, although technically it is a title.
The titles should be kept short for simplicity and not to give too much information away that people would not know without knowing your character personally, in my oponion. 'Ellaron the slow' or 'Ellaron the dimwitted' would be a proper use for this command as opposed to 'Ellaron the mage, blacksmith, carpenter, beer drinker, retired warrior, etc.'

@Ellarion - Not exactly that way.
@Grishnak - Not exactly that way.
Ellarion the old
Ellarion the smith
Sister Ellarion
Brother Ellarion
Grishnak the slave
All okay.
Ellarion the old man (not real good)
Ellarion the Master Smith (Master Smith Elaralion would be better)
"Here ye here ye, introducing Sister Ellarion of the Southern Realm." That's a title.
"Hear ye, hear ye, introducing Ellarion the old man", that's not a title.
I really don't think there are any rules for titles yet, you need to use your best judgement.
