Yes, I am in full agreement with Joxia; we must complete these jobs. Please sign up here on the board if you are available for one. If we do not make a name for ourselves, the Grovestriders may drift into the status of a military organization, only offering services in times of war. I myself hope that this will not be the case, since this guild was founded to service traders and offer jobs.

I would like to welcome a new recruit, Tobias Winchester amidst our ranks.
He has previous Mercenary experience though he has grown rusty with no work. Im sure he wont have any trouble remembering with a little practice.

mass training will begins soon possibly with in next 2 or 3 dwarven weeks..*

do your self a favore find training buddies now and begin on your own.. also wolf hunting is good training.. get hold of some leather armor and get going.. we will need furs for when the pig plague finaly ends best to stock pile it now .. also any one who mines regularly we will need iron, coal, gold, and some copper.. not expecting all of your ore to come to us but please do set aside a portion for us.. this will help a bit later... also if you're a smith or learning to the skills of the smith.. any and all weapons and armor would make find additions to the new recruits training gear bad gear is better than no gear..

I Darius Kain am pouring all i have into the treasury and into personal training so i may be worthy of my duties as captain..

((*not sure hoping for the sooner but im looking for another job to pay bills.. ))

I have turned over the guilds share of the coin for the parchment job to Darius.

She is a topnotch treasure hunter.
I also want to add Rukka Skullbasher to the Available men at arms list and look forward to her becoming a full member in the future.
I am sorry to that Altrix has left us, he just had too many things going on. If he should ever like to return he will be welcomed.

current silvers all totaled in my possession in holding for guild is 31 silver..

planning to add a few more coppers to it by making some bows to sharpen my skills and have them sold for coin until i can make quite good bows.. of various types. i would like to ask if Amaria would mind taking the bows to Tol Vanima a friend has told me that there is an elf there who dose not speak common language but buys many kinds of bows.

if any one would like to donate silvers to the current holding treasury ((this means the money doesn't get used it's a savings account basically)) right now it consists of the money turned over by joxia and the money i have been putting in it.. if you have extra silver or copper and dont know what to do with it.. it is welcome in the holding treasury.

Greetings, I am the famed Gnome scholar Wimbur Seemil.

I am currently hoping to expedition to the Graveyard in the south, in order to preform continue my research. The goal of this expedition is to catalog the creatures of the Graveyard, map out the appropriate sections of the Graveyard, and to examine the artifacts of the Graveyard. These are the reasons for my expedition.

I seek a band of trained guards to escort me through the Graveyard. I believe three shall be sufficient. I wish to have no orcs on this expedition, but if you must be sure that he is not ill, and that he can be controlled by another expedition member. The three shall need to protect me from the perils of the Graveyard, and to haul around the various artifacts that I discover. In addition to this the Grovestrider administration must authorize, and supply me one leather leggings, and one leather body armor, as well as a decent dagger. This will make their job alot easier, and also provide me with protection, and keep me warm in the cold tombs. Upon completion of the expedition these things shall be returned to the highest ranking Grovestrider who accompanies me. At the end of the expedition the mercenaries that accompanied me shall be allowed to keep any loot that I deem unworthy for research, as well as any coin that they may find in the Graveyard. In addition they will be given credit in my research papers, as well as getting more practice with their sword in the Graveyard.

Besides the loot that I deem unworthy, and the coin that they find, they shall be paid a total of thirteen and one half silver coins, which shall be divided amongst the three of them as they see fit. These coins shall be showed to them before the expedition starts, and they shall receive them at the end of the expedition, as I do not wish for the coins to get lost, damaged, or stolen in the Graveyard.

Hopefully we can work together to make this expedition a successful one.

ATTENTION GROVESTRIDERS

We are moving our base of opperations to Greenbriar for a while, for the convenience of a job. You will recieve more information in person so please seek out myself or Darius at your earliest convenience.

Also, Our beloved Commander Slazf is retiring from duty and turning the guild over to Darius and myself. There may be a bit of reorganization called for, such as another election for a Captain.

Dear friends,

I am deeply saddened to announce this. Though the Grovestriders has only just been born, I must resign from leadership. I feel that I am beginning to become too venerable in my old age and would not be fully fit to continue as a front for the guild. I shall still maintain a friendship with the band, and do what I can to help. By the laws, I pass my leadership on to Darius Kain. I wish the best of luck for this young organization, and hope that I have done enough to plant a powerful force that may take root upon Gobiath. I shall leave the treasury with Joxia Doral.

The Grovestrders have one of their new recriuts...Oliver Fox. He was killed by the orc Rough'toh in an honorable duel. Funeral arrangements are being made and will be posted.

Also I want to say job well done in Greenbriar. The Baggins family decided that Greenbriar is once again an active and safe place for them to live work.The Littlethorns are greatful as are Darius and I. Thanks to all of you who helped. We will continue our presence there for a while longer and make sure the Baggins family stays happy.
