Ok some of you have good points, espicially about clarifing to me that is is privately owned and open to the public for both the buildings. And that so it is privately owned they can choose who enters (and leaves..grins). Some people misunderstood me when i explained theat there could be private building that are open and public building that the people own (and thus the goverment is the group of people that represent the people and maintain the building)
bedenke, gastfreundlich beinhaltet das wort gast, und genau denen wird es erlaubt sein die stadt zu betreten. den gästen. mehr aber auch nicht. unter gäste versteht man nunmal geladene personen, bzw. personen die eine erlaubnis der zwerge haben.
nebenbei, illarion ist ein sehr rollenspielbezogenes game. es ist in der fantasy nunmal so das man ohne erlaubnis keine zwergenstadt betreten darf. genauso ist es bei den elfen.

Dies ist aber von Anfang an geplant gewesen (noch vor der ersten Version von Illarion) und auch seit Begin der Webseite nachzulesen, soweit ich weiß (hab jetzt keine Lust zu suchen).
Jene müsten dann jedoch weitaus weniger groß als die zwergenstadt asufallen, schließ gab es ja von dem zwergenstadt projekt aus ingame eine menge arbeit für dieses projekt und auch wenn sich das jetzt anhört wie ein kleines kind das nach seinen Lolli schreit: "Es wäre "ungerecht" wenn dies alles umsonst wäre...."
inwiefern ist es umsonst, wenn die zwergensadt die einzige neue stadt im momment ist?
ich hab zumindest nirgends was gelesen von "die andern städte kommen morgen" oder ähnliches...
insofern ist es allein deswegen nciht umsonst, weil die zwergenstadt die einzige ist, die mommentan existiert für eine bestimmte rasse.. bis die andern städte kommen werden kann noch einige zeit vergehen...
Es wäre ja auch zu begrüßen, wenn sich für die Städte der anderen Rassen eine Gruppe findet, die dafür bezahlt und deshalb mitbestimmt, wie sie aussieht. Andernfalls muß diese natürlich nicht umbedingt den Wünschen der entsprechenden Spielern entsprechen.

Actually, in English I think it would be Silverfire, from the translation some Germans gave me. Although I never did get a true definition of "brand" it seems to be some type of out door fire.

But I think that Silberbrand best translates as Silverfire, which sounds nice anyway. Then again, so does Silverbrand, but that is a miss translation.

Silberbrand means something like Silverfire.
But it can be also that the meaning is Silverbrand also in english for branding for a mark made by burning.
no no, silverbrand is right. brand is an english word, it means the fire of a torch for example and it is similar to a fire or blaze. but "to brand" means that you burn a sign into something like a cow, or leather goods.
There exist also names of towns/villages in germany, which are called Brand / Brandt or have the ending -brand / -brandt.
This means, that these settlements where build in the early middle age in wide forests by burning down the trees to become a place for it.
