I do not see a number 6 saying I get to keep the rank I earned through years of protecting this town

None of the men for Captain have been a Guard before. They all plan to strengthen the Guard, but they truely do not know what a guard is. What they have is a simplistic view of a robust subject. I advise everyone to think about this, and revoke all current Canidates. If you wish a captain, go with the previous captain. These pip squeaks would piss their pants if they faced a number of things Revlen has. I find it obsurd that not one person thought of him. I also find it insulting.

In fact, Tahlian already has been a guard, but personally I do not think he would do fine as the captain, I would agree on revoking all current candidates.

Taylor, please do not speak of things you do not know of. Perhaps I do not hold the experience Revlen has, but I haved faced a drow as a child. I know the difference of right and wrong, but that does not mean I should be guard captain.

I withdraw myself from the candidate list, and place my vote on revlen, if you will allow him.

Tahlian and Grant are both followers of Stephen and neither of them is strong enough for the position as a guard captain. I don't know Phillipe, nor Leonardo, but I am sure everyone would be better then Tahlian or Grant.

Apparently some people do not understand that these are volunteers. I cannot force any previous captains to be interested in the position. Taylor, I have asked many people if they wish to be guard. As I have said, I cannot force anyone.

Brumbok, the way the laws are set up, is the guard's actions can be vetoed. If they do not obey, the can be removed.

You cannot vote for Revlen as he has not expressed interest in becoming the captain again.

I hold no intention to enter as Captain of the guard. This is better left to the younger lads. I will be watching over Trollsbane as i can, and i will watch over the new captain, who ever that may be.

My first act is make Karl Salameh a recruit of the town guard and keep Liles as the only Town Guard of Trolls Bane. Anyone interested in joining the town guard please speak to myself.

Thanks to all who participated, now we can no longer linger in the past and move on towards progress instead of other nonsense. In my stay as Magistrate I hope to:

1) Have good working relations with Phillipe and all other guards.
2) Hopefully #1 and other factors will make it so that trials can be done quickly and efficiently, they have been slow and non existent recently.
3) Make the process fair, and have results and punishments that fit the crime, as well as straighten out what the process will actually be, whether there is citizens who help decide a criminals fate, or other.
4) Be able to put citizens on alert about security threats and criminals to help protect all.
