Trollsbane is now in need of a Magistrate and Captain.
Responsibilities can be found at this parchment.

If you wish to become one of these, make your presence known here or through doves, there will be a vote later.

The election will take place in a few days, we are still awaiting word from those interested.

As well, this will effect the whole isle so the whole isle may vote. You do need a name signed to the vote though.

Four of the candidates are unknown to me - I would prefer that these important jobs are done by citizens who are for a longer time on Gobiath.

why is Grant Rothman as a candidate allowed, the man who lead a rebellion in his father's name against the new government?

And why is there no need for being a citizen?

I've stated my intentions before I was elected. Grant can run, that doesn't mean he will win. I've given time for those who wish to become an official to message me. You cannot force people to become one of these or even candidate.

There is no need to be a citizen because these are all that wanted to run at the moment. Shall I begin to force people to run now?

surely the captain of the guard should be one with at least competent figthing skill? No offense to Leonardo or Philippe, but i doubt either of them are that good at fighting. So my vote goes to Tahlain.

I vote Fooser as magistrate, and I do not think any of theses candidates for guard captain are competent enought so I will abstain.

I like fooser shall not vote for the one in which I am concerned. However I should like to know some of what the gaurds have planned. So I know which to decide.

As Captain of the guard I would do 3 things successfully.

1) Ensure that democratic elections for governor and all other outstanding positions within the government are always used in Trolls Bane.

2) Ensure that the town guard is loyal to the government of Trolls Bane, (assuming the government follows the first point), thereby ensuring the government of Trolls Bane prevails.

3) Ensure that never again do bandits or harmful people roam freely within the town, attacking people at random and threatening little girls with their axes because no one can stop them. This means I would try to make the town guard a powerful defensive force on the island.

My goals would be:

1. To make sure everyone, citizen or not, is protected in Trolls Bane.

2. Recruit new guards with only thorough questioning.

3. Abide the rules and allow no flexibility for someone who breaks them.

4. Immediatly disband any guards who abuse their position.

5. Make sure the leaders of the Trolls Bane government are well protected.
