You are playing like orcs, trying to take away the town of another group of dwarves by force.
That's something orcs would do and no dwarves. And don't tell me about racial stereotypes. There are some things everyone must agree some races won't do or are not able to do.
Orcs recitating poems and speaking elven? Yeah why not, it's fresh it's new.
Dwarves stealing each others caves and smile on loyality and their comradeship under each other? Sure, let's do so!
Human who found out to become as old as elves? Sure, they like trees too!
That's when you could basically disable all races besides human because there's nothing anymore that would make them different from the other races.
There are some things no dwarf/elf/orc/human would do and that is (for a dwarf) to backstab and take away another town by force.
That's my personal opinion, nothing more nothing less. I know that you have a different opinion about your roleplay being totally ok so I finally want a word from someone in charge (GM / Dev anyone) to see who's right.

They should not for crying out loud.
Thurbert tried to knock sense into Belgram, and I'm pretty sure he would have killed him in his frenzy yet... *walks to cross* *argues even louder than before* that's just not working.
They should start to realize that they're weaker and should draw back their claims if they're being "killed" again and again, don't you think?

This topic seems to be slipping into IC talk. Stop that, or I'll lock it. Friedwulfa wants to discuss current roleplay and ways of reconciling it to suit most players. However, when you say something like:
..you shoot her efforts in the foot, by apparently roleplaying your character's opinions on the board. Let Friedwulfa lead the discussion--she seems to be the only level-headed person contributing at the moment.Weaker, yes. Howver, we do have more dwarves...
Because all this conflict has been arising and supported by you aswell PO Stephen by the OOC claim that Ghorn would never be online:
That's bullshit roleplay there from your side, and I won't take that back for it is. We do not live for this game and therefor we can't be playing 24/7, and if you log out your character does NOT magically vanish until you log back on, perhaps read the Guide to Roleplaying and mind Japhets or Aeghols nice essay about "downtime".
Garett Gwenour wrote:Ghorn, whom stands beside you ? Tialdin ? Tirana ? They are around perhaps once a year. It is you whom draws a civil war because you want the throne. Listen to the voice of the dwarves whom matter, the active ones, they want Durgin and not you. It is you who has brought blood to your race now, not Durgin. Through your greed and lies.

please come back to the theme.
we have here, like i think, really traitors. it looks too, like the traitors are defeated for some times. the only time the "pro-ghorn" lost were, when there were no fair one-on-one fights. fights where one side uses potions in the fight (try this please in real). and fights when two stands against one.. thats not a honourful way... so thats not the dwarven-way....

But when your characters are gone for weeks at a time, even months at a time and they hold an important position in the Illarion structure you cannot just say, "I am busy ooc." You are important to this game and you have a responsiblity to be active. Ghorn is active this is true, but most of the people who sided with him then were very inactive, but it is now that there is about a war they are active agan which is good to see.
However as stated, you cannot be a King of the Land and be called ooc to show up for events because they need you. Nor ask for special treatment because you dont want to play illarion, but want to rule it

So your argumentation implies that people that can only play few hours each weak are never allowed to play more important characters and are completely zoned out from getting into "higher" and "decisive" positions in game.
That's just.. geeky "Oh no I HAVE TO get online now, sorry dear, tell Sandra to wait with making her first steps I am a dedicated player of a game and I have a responsibility"

every PO should have a real live.. and thats the reason why you can be away for days or weeks, too. like durgin, me, Thurbert, Syrana... everybody i think. thats not a reason why somebody couldnt be king.
but a reason why a dwarf couldnt be king is when he is a puppet (like it looks with durgin), or when he is a coward who cant stand alone.
but.. for the ooc and ig peace i think the "two-king-way" could be a way

No,
One arguement was of course Tialdin was a very absent king.
Second arguement was Ghorn forced Gabon into war and Ghorn lied to his allies.
Third arguement was Surely Tialdin cannot be very wise if he will let Ghorn be king after seeing what Ghorn did in the second arguement
And fourth was convincing them they had to stop it.
Oh damn that Stephen always ruining ooc planning..

When seeing this, some people probably are thinking "wow, Silverbrand is messed up right now" or "wow, I'm glad I don't have a dwarf char there right now". In the end things like these are only hurting yourselves
Thats true because this whole thing is getting out of hand and is very boring both in game and OOC
