Bad roleplay

Bad roleplay
Yeah dont you think it's bad roleplay for a group of dwarves including mine, killing Ghorn and his followers for the crown (dont comment on this) but then the king and stuff still believe they had won even though the 'traitors' are still locked in Silverbrand!
The whole "you're inactive (even though you're not) so I'm going to take you out with one of my characters" thing. That's like me saying there are too many elf characters IG, so I'm going to rampage them, it's BS. Tialdin was accused IC of being in Silverbrand I believe once per year. Here's a question: Where is he the rest of the year? LoL, (downtime anyone?) All of those dwarf characters are horribly played, most haven't even been IG a while, there seems to be a potion chugging problem again, and calling for votes is stupid for dwarves, which Markous pointed out in that topic. How many dwarven presidents have you seen? They have Kings, that's what they do.
I think it sucks that dwarves that came to this island and generally start with nothing, no reputation, nothing, now start to claim a city that others build before for themselves.
That's not much more than robbery in my eyes and something honest dwarves wouldn't do if they'd realy fight for a righteous and prosper town.
Yeah right, they had nothing to do with the town before anyway so why bother now and demand something you have no right upon?
The only two citizens involved are Belgram and Durgin, the others.. played for some weeks, didn't bother to apply for citizenship to become part of the town but now want to seize it for themselves.
That's reasonable? I think not
EDIT:
Bow to the Fooser for his words are right and true.

To all those viewing this topic, please ignore Donal. He is probably going through one of his "oh god I have a soul and I cannot handle it"-periods. His opinion is irrelevant, and based on biased opinions, not facts. And those opinions stem from himself, which makes them void (in Donal's case). I wish for once Donal would add something good to a thread.

Sparta (source: MS Encarta)
Edit: Aye, roman empire was also ruled (before it was splitted into west-rome and east-rome!) by two con-caesars from time to time. Refer to your local history book.

Translation of the last sentence: "Their true political power however wasn't great."Monarchie
what i find annoying is how PO stephen is again involved in a feud with silverbrand using the same arguement his char jacob use, with stephen. That to me seems pretty much the same idea as getting killed on one char, then getting on a stronger one and killing whoever got you
And i have to agree with fooser on this.

I say silverbrand blow up :p that'd solve it.
haha, I don't think we should discuss the RP about all of this. It was indeed bad on both sides, and both sides are now angery. We should let the OOC about the ordeal subside, and actually focus on the RP.
And, i'd hope that if there are future battles, people don't start talking in OOC in the middle of it, like they did this one.....

Well, not being behind the scenes of this but seeing the whole battle and being not involved in it (yay go me...
) I have to say I don't think the roleplay in that particular scene was that bad. The only disturbing thing was the OOC part, like it was mentioned, would have been better to say it IC.
Wouldn't have been a great problem I think.
I have to say that most dwarven players are taking all that too seriously. Yes I mean dwarven players in general (please notice the plural) I don't mean someone particular here.
As some might know it was also my plan to have Ghorn as a king, afterwards I'm happy that it came like that. Not because I don't like Ghorn anymore but to see that more than person cares about Silverbrand. And I'm happy to see that Silverbrand is once again active and war to find out who will be king isn't that bad really
Just my two cents.

Wrong, because it splits the community of dwarves. and once it is over there will be less dwarves in silverbrand than before. that whole story just will weaken silverbrand and destroy what we build up after a long time of inactivity. Not because I don't like Ghorn anymore but to see that more than person cares about Silverbrand. Splits the community of dwarves? It's a little late to be bringing in that argument. Rogan wanted terribly to be part of Silverbrand and waited months for... oh, right Nothing! And now you openly say that just because you are a dwarf, that does not entitle you to citizenship. THAT is where the split happens and you are kidding yourself if you say otherwise.Ghorn wrote:Wrong, because it splits the community of dwarves. and once it is over there will be less dwarves in silverbrand than before. that whole story just will weaken silverbrand and destroy what we build up after a long time of inactivity. Not because I don't like Ghorn anymore but to see that more than person cares about Silverbrand. I know he wanted, and i am sorry that it took so long. but that was the problem with the inactive king tialdin. thats why me and fjalara started to reorganize the town. to stop that inactivity and bring life back to silverbrand. than others come after we did all the work and made it so that silverbrand can become active again and take the credit, and will live on what we made.
they came after we did the work. and now they want to profit from it and we can go away and shut up, very nice. yes.
