Blue Marlin
destinybelize.com wrote: Dark blue above, 15 vertical rows of pale blue spots on side. Fin tips pointed. Deep bodied. Found outside reef in warm waters (often near drop-offs), and highly migratory, following the seasons and ocean currents to remain in warm waters. Great sport fish, but marlin has not been heavily fished in the Placencia area. Feeds primarily on surface-dwelling fish and ocean squids. Average size 200+ pounds in southern Belize waters. Trolling, experienced anglers only.

Bonefish
destinybelize.com wrote:Slender, spindle-shaped body, conical snout, bluish back, silvery sides with dark streaks on upper sides. Found on flats, mangrove areas and river mouths. Feeds on invertebrates in shallow water. Average size 5 pounds in southern Belize waters. Good sport fish (catch and release only). Fly fishing or light tackle.
Cappy's "Level" Rating:
Medium.

Notes: It is either this or the Rock-Fish, but it is very poisonous and the chef level requirement should be extremly high.

And that is from the food channel 8)

Notes;
This is were i decide all fish in the ocean ((except mabey one or two)) will be anything but Easy. As these fish are like.. 500+ft below the surface. Im sure no newbie with a rod could go pull a tuna out of 850ft of water.

Well, although it *is* *kind of* an option to add another water tile that is considered different than the other tiles, it's very iffy.

First of all, there is a limit to how many tiles can be put into the client. I'm unaware of what that limit is, but I'm of the understanding we're close to that limit.

Second of all, tiles are placed by hand. I know, because I place them.

There is another option than having different tiles, refer to the new mining script. Depening on the location, one could catch different kinds of fishes.

Anyway, this is something for the new client. There will be a trader who buys fishes so one can make a living by fishing. Also, I strongly suggest to eat some fishes from time to time, their "food value" is comparable high.

Should be 20 from total starving to stuffed. But you are right, the food value is too low. I will rebalance this.

and for every fish there are regular sized ones, and the insanely sized ones. Like catfish's difficulty is medium, you get them every so often, but about every 50 catfish you get a 30 pound catfish or something, and you have to shift click it like 4 or 5 times to finsih it all up cuz its so freaking big!!! And it'd be cool if we got alot more intricate fishing system. You could find worms with a sickle and mud or something, and that catches certain kinds of fish, then you cna get leeches with mud and a sickle too, and that catches different things than te worm. And you can get different types of lures that catch different types of fish. Or specific lures for specific fish

and when you do catch a fish you have to shift click the water alot, and thats "reeling" it in. something of the sort

Bluegills
fishresource.com wrote: Bluegills are mainly found in lakes, in the same fishing habitat as largemouth bass. Slow-moving rivers, vegetated ponds and creek pools are also likely bluegill domains. Often feeding in shallows near the surface during the spring and spawning season, bluegills move into deeper waters when the water temperature rises in the summer.

In deeper lakes, look for the biggest fish in deep water (over 30 feet deep) in schools over soft clay or mud.

---------
Big bluegills average from one to three pounds, and the largest on record weighed four pounds twelve ounces.

My idea

1) You could always invent names for fish

2) If you use the 'circles' idea.. you could have things such as fish schools ect...

3) Use quality for fish "Very good catfish" would be big, while "Very bad" would be a small fish

4) Boat i think it hard to implement; i'm sure its hard [changing tiles]

5) RE: vendors.. i thought you were already arranging that

6) "A large fish pulls at your rod, breaking it"
"You catch the fish but it escapes"
"Your line snags"

1. No.
2. No. There is no point
3. No. But there could be "Very Large"-"Very Small"
4. Indeed. But then again the entire game is hard and can only be built on striving for perfection.
5.Indeed.
6. Sounds ok.
