It looks too cartoony and I'm sorry, that's awful. And we already have a toadstool, made by our resident Illarion graphics...people.

illarion graphics need to look a bit more realistic than that.

Are we playing the same game, Falco ?
Dónal is right, its a bit to cartoon'ish, even for the already cartoon'ish Illarion graphics.
Maybe try to use the same color sheme and it will look better.
However, try to use 3d models as base of your images.

It's not that bad, however it doesn't fit into Illarion.
Additionally my trained eye tells me that this is not your work. At least I suspect that.
The actual in game graphic for that thing looks terrible, too.

I sutre hope so Keikan. I dont know where you get "cartoony" from ilalrion's graphics. The non-3d ones look fairly realistic, some even to the point of looking like a photo. The 3d models look pretty real though it's obvious they are generated. But neithe rlook anything like cartoony.

Illarion is 2d, however the graphics are rendered from 3d- models.

Isn't there any *NICER* way you could have said this?
At any rate, the toadstool is nice, but it fits somewhere like Furcadia better, I think.

How would you see that it is 3d rendered falco? You can paint the same picture in 2d, though it might be a bit harder.

alright, granted, it is POSSIBLE to paint a 3d rendered picture to look the same. But it's very hard and no one with any sanity would do it.
I dont know how to explain it, but there are certain things that characterize most 2d and 3d drawings, thoguh I suppose outliers are possible.

It would be logical to presume that they render the model in 3d and take frames of the model in different positions to impliment as animations into the game.
They should do images of it sitting down and lying down. It would be a lot easier to get this across to people rather than having to type '#me is lying down' everytime someone new comes along etc.

Having the graphics is one thing.
Implementing them so you sit down when you want to is another thing.

Maybe something like a command that initiates the graphic change, but it can only be done on certain squares of the map.
The musroom looks okay, but I don't understand why you would submit it to the Illarion staff...the art style is completely different. You have to keep the perspective and art style consistent so it doesn't stand out too much in the game itself. Learn simple 3d graphics, and take pics from different angles. Remember to skin them aswell. And pixie dust, don't forget to sprinkle pixie dust all over the place.
