Since this topic has managed to have itself blazed to hell and all i'll try to keep this short:

I went to do a bit of experimenting with the magic things. I know my intial concern and possibly that of others was that the life bar would raise faster then the mana bar to the point where it made magic useless and we'd all be off buying plate mail again. After doing a few tests it's obvisous they raise at an even rate so unless said person attacking you is using potion after potion they won't be coming after you every other minute. thats fair enough in my book, since it effects all classes of players not just one.

Now i'm leaving this topic alone before it starts another fire. lata

There will be another minor change which will affect the whole thing again.
This was planned to implement simultaneously but for some reasons we were not able to do that at the same time.

Please wait and see what happens later.

Well Turnupto, I've been saying for a loing time now we should get rid of all fighting and RP everything....But for some reason no one wants to do that.

Im sorry....I wrote it funny and you misunderstood.....What I meant is taht all fighting and magic systems be gotten rid of, and then every fight and death should be RP'ed. There would no longer be any problems with PK's and such...and no bitching about the systems changing. Just making the game a pure RP game.

I don't see how anyone could have good magic resistance without powergaming, unless they survived 400 mage attacks without being killed...

The fact that your paralyze/ice fire combo is the most ridiculous thing in this game, I have my reasons.

And no, I don't log out when someone is about to kill me. Many would oppose that. I've died hundreds of times. If it be by you, monsters, Athian, Darlok, Grunith, Aristeaus, Kincent, and whoever the hell's name you need.

The first day I RPed with Athian. Kasume was stupid enough to get himself killed. Two minutes later, Athian starts threatening and eventually the player insults me in OOC. A couple days later, Athian insults my RP with a huge discussion. I just replied with a sentance of facts about him. Frankly, if he doesn't like my RP. Then don't talk to me. I've said it to him in the past. Yet now he thinks he is the smartest and most rational man in the world because he ignored what I was trying to say to him before, and now he is saying exactly as what I said so many months ago.

Don't let Athian corrupt your mind

You on the other hand is a different story.

YEs, Kasume, you DO log off when you are about to die. You cannot deny it; 5 of us were attacking you becauseyou keep trespassing on our land, and I attacked you and you logged. Then you logged 2 more times after that. DOnt say you didnt.

I just have a problem with the magic system.

For one thing, you powergame to the non-belief. Logging out when farming. And you even came back TELLING me that you casted spells on yourself to increase your magic resistance. That might be why my RP is such on a low scale with you. There is hardly anything to role play with you besides bashing each others heads. No, excuse me, paralyzing me and killing me with one flame.

You and Athian seem to be the only ones that have an obvious (please remember that I stated obvious meaning that some may not like it and just aren't open with it) problem with my RP. I've had a problem with Athian's RP since the first day I met him. And I've had here and there problems with your RP. No one elses do I complain about...

I'm gone a day and i come back to find all this arguement. Kasume, i really don't care what you think or believe about me, because i can't do anything to change your veiws, and even when you are wrong you won't believe it. i've already pm'ed you about no further contact between we two and yet you still talk about me. i'm getting sick of it frankly, and i've already asked you to stop, simply because i'm not going to waste my day arguing with you. it's stupid and childish and all your doing is furthering it more and more.
This thread is already way off topic, simply because you couldn't find enough self control to keep your mouth shut, if you have complaints send them to Violations, if you dont want to do that, just shut the hell up and Nilo, don't bother arguing with him it's pointless anyway.

I've stopped all contact with Gms about such things. Why? Because anytime I ever wrote a thing in the email,. I never even know if they get the letter, let alone if anything is ever done. I constantly aam seeing things in game that sadden me beyond all belief. If I were to use the !gm feature, I would be bitched at for bothering them non-stop even though I find it a decent reason. Also I ahve completely lost faith in all gms that work with the games rp. The few good ones are either gone or hide in the shadows and if they do any good, we never know of it. And then there are the few who make rediculous decisions....hmm..well, like lets say...Demanding the skulls give up the lands up north to Ultoris for no damn rp reason whatsoever. Stuff like that has tired me. I miss Twania. I miss Serpardum. I miss Kiekan.

Which is precisely why you can get away with it. There is usually no way to prove if other people are powergaming, because they do it alone, and there's nobody to witness it. I don't know if you have powergamed or not, and I don't care.

Thievery is an in game trait, and has nothing to do with OOC matters. Very interesting how you didn't quote the argument from Kasume about your paralysis/flame combo.

First, to this day, it still strikes me dumb that there exists a superwizard hobbit, which should be an oxymoron in Illarion. Unlike other hobbit characters who have taken up magic, instead of rarely using it and acting like it's dangerous like you probably should do, you continue to act like it's something that comes really easily to your character and it's natural.

So you're a supermage, and...you farm? Aren't mages usually locked up in a tower, too busy to farm because of their immense studies? It's like you completely ignore the fact that you chose a hobbit for your character. It's like you only wanted the graphic or something.

And yes, even to my character not long ago, you used the amazing paralyze spell with flame combo, making it impossible for your opponent to escape let alone win the conflict. That's not fair RP Nilo, and from the sound of things here, you still do not desire to play honestly. Did your mom ever tell you to play fair or don't play at all?

Seriously now. Stop being afraid of your collection of pixels on a screen known as a "character," turning into a cloud and accept the fact that your character is no god, and can lose to others at times.

GO BLOODEHEARTE! I do have a bit of a thing with hobbits that fight...well maybe the few 1 or 2. I met this lady hobbit who was pretty strong. I am not naming names, and I have a few secret chars that I go on from time to time to see some things.
