you can make copper items the same way as iron ''with the hammer'' but I think it takes a bit of skill because I can make plenty of items with iron but barely anything with copper.

Ohhh kind of like a lumberjack axe. Makeing that was a waste. Well atleast I know its not for lumberjacking.

i dont have a picture. it looks like a normal hammer but the back is split just a bit, like for pulling nails. Its was sold to me but that person lifted it off of a mummy he dispached. Yes it is a carpentry hammer.

well I have had one, just a little over a month now and cant use it. Well I can't figure out its use. I think it might be one of those tools that has to be used with other tools....but i dont really know.... Maybe it just doesnt have any use as of yet.

Does the carpentry hammer have a use. I asked before and no one answered. Maybe someone can tell me this time. A simple yes/no will sufice but details will be greatly appriciated.

ahh yes that is key. I'm a smith and I can even remember my own tools.

You need tools; hammer, mold, and pinchers then you can not only make ingots but use those to make other things(with the hammer.)

you have to have a piece of coal in you hand and in your belt. It won't work without a piece in your hand but it will use the piece that is in your belt, or atleast that's what I have had to do. Then just ''use'' the furnace.

well I have a 10 intel so it shouldnt be a whole lot harder for me. Skill wise I still can't make armor so I know I havent topped out skill wise.

Can anybody learn a complete craft no matter what the attributes of his/her character or does that affect how far you can get into learning all of that craft/skill. My carpentry has gone nowhere for a long...long time. But I did get killed once and lose some skill. Have'nt gained that back either.

I can make some find me IG. smelting tools are crucible, pinchers, mold. i can make crucible and mold...

Is that really Power gaming, after all you are using 2 weapons you should get skills with both. If you had a shield instead you would gain the skill from that, right?

So if I were to use two weapons together, say, a sword and dagger would I learn puncture and slash at the same time? What if I held two swords would it double my training speed for that weapon?

well I dont actually sit idle I explore the map and hit people up for new supplies. Ofcourse even that can only use so much time. but thanks for the warning.

as long as my concentration can ''recharge'' I will stay on but it sounded like rest was only recognized by loggong off and not playing for a little(hours) while

but i am making the item in hopes of improving because my items are really poorly made still and am gaining no skills, thus a waste of materials.

Anyways, new question. Is there anyway to rest so I can learn again or is it just logging off for a fw hours will do it?

Thats what I though but I was hoping it wasnt true. So its ''almost'' pointless to do anything if you are unable to learn while doing it. cuz you are jsut wasteing you resources then. ...I think I have wasted alot of metal then.

So all my attributes are pretty well even and after every time I gain some experience I get the ''you are unable to concentrate'' crap. Does this mean that I have to wait before I can advance any of my skills or just the one I am working on when I get the message?

so what do you need the skill for I can already read all the books in the library. Are there people who dont know how to read?

no thats not it because I have'nt sold anything. It could ossable be NPC related thought because everytime something dissapeared I was in the town and I had talked to an NPC right around when each item vanished.
