So if I were to use two weapons together, say, a sword and dagger would I learn puncture and slash at the same time? What if I held two swords would it double my training speed for that weapon?

dual wield*

But im pretty sure you would learn of both if you used a dagger and a sword. But using 2 swords..im not sure, probably more, but maybe not twice faster.

You only learn the skill of the stronger weapon.

I think that is a good thing too, because some people would do that to powergame two weapon skills at once.

Is that really Power gaming, after all you are using 2 weapons you should get skills with both. If you had a shield instead you would gain the skill from that, right?

He has a good point, when you use a shield you get more parry than with 2 swords, and same slashing.

Keep in mind, you can't really powergame it. Each parry/hit you raise mc, so the more you hit/parry/dodge, the more mc you gain, faster you reach your cap.
