Can anybody learn a complete craft no matter what the attributes of his/her character or does that affect how far you can get into learning all of that craft/skill. I just though about this today when I advanced while reading (which im pretty new at) but have been working very hard at carpentry and have not advanced in about a week. And trust me I have made alot of items there should be no reason why I havent advanced....but I did notice that I dont ever lose concentration when performing carpentry at this point....is the system just screwy again, or did I just hit the end of the road with my carpentry carrier?
Got a bit jumbled trying to type all of that in, hope it makes sence.
Am I to dumb to learn anymore?

As a craftsman, I have never had any problems leveling up, when 'a' system is enabled..
However, you have to remember, that the old skill system was 'random', then disabled, then Cassandra tried to 'improve' it, then it was disabled, then simplified, then disabled, and as far as I know, it's random again.
It has been very confusing. But hey, it's about RP anyway right? If you don't get upset about it, you won't go crazy, OK?
Hope it helps.

It is most certainly *not* random. It is far *less* random than the interrim method was. There is still a *small* amount of 'luck' involved, but it is basically very regular advancement now.
As far as I know, all intelligence regulates is how *fast* you learn, not how *much* you can learn. But, I could be wrong on that.

It is about RP but, when saying I have a skill I want to be able to use it. After all being able to creat and trade or use your items does play a pretty good part in most the RP I see IG.
Plus I was mostly just wondering if I was done advancing. So I wouldnt go around promising to make things for people ''when I learned to''. If I would never be advanced enought to make them.
