Additional suggestion:

-Fix the game so that you can shoot from higher levels like castle parapets
-range, damage, and accuracy should be doubled for shooting from a height

No, my test character had distance fighter's stats of course. It's not even worth using distance weapons in its only useable form right now to kill things like pigs where you have no chance to die because attacks from distance weapons are relatively so much weaker and to add to that cost lots of wor...

Distance Weapons

I haven't seen anyone using distance weapons, and after testing them out I know why. They simply don't work. The attack speed for all distance weapons is dead slow and the damage isn't enough to account for the fact that you are dead once your enemy approaches you because you can't parry very well w...

Why don't you just post your results from your testing of the attributes' effects here? That way you don't have to PM it 10 times and the devs can tell you if it is correct or not.

"Buying skills" or more roleplay appropriate "paying to be taught skills" is a good idea. It is realistic to have this feature because in normal circumstances people do not learn all the skills they possess by repetitively doing something over and over, instead they learn from be...

It is not good for the ingame economy for most smiths to also be miners, which is the case currently. This proposal put into effect would encourage more smiths to just be smiths.

Smelting Scrap metal

Proposal: Suggest that all smithed items made out of iron be able to be smelted into iron ingots using the smelting oven. Of course, iron is lost in the process of smelting so a helmet that used up 4 iron ingots should only be able to be melted down into 2 iron ingots. Reason: It makes sense, and it...

Money bags can be easily grabbed during the transfer from one pair of hands to another. This happens in real life - even purses are frequently torn away by thieves and wallets pickpocketed out of pockets. However, RL is beside the point here and the way things in this game are done should not always...

20 humans online right now and 5 non humans. This is what I regularly see, and it means that 80% of the ingame population is humans and all the other races (elves, dwarves, orcs, halflings etc) combined only adds up to 20%. I think that new players need to be encouraged more to play the other races,...

I think that it is a good thing for races to have racial bonuses because it complements the fact that we have different races. The only thing I would propose is that the "unique talents" for each race be clearly defined and made available for new players. It is particularly important that ...

I see what you mean Jupiter, but my question about the technicalities of a dwarf being able to be a crafter better than other races as fitting with the racial backgrounds, remains unanswered.

Could someone from the technical staff give a definitive answer? Thank you.

Vern I disagree, the system doesn't have you "hand" things around, it has you drop them on the ground. So a thief snatching things from the ground is playing with the system not against it. Furthermore, oftentimes, especially when the trading is done in large numbers like say a pile of hun...

Dwarven Craftsmen

Hello, I noticed that dwarves have a minimum of 2 dexterity and a maximum of only 17. However, according to the attribute explanations, dexterity is the determining factor for crafting. Now, from what I understand of racial backgrounds, dwarves are supposed to be master craftsmen and should be the o...

I have talked to Nicolas, but I cannot for the life of me find that thief he said went west. I have gone as far west as Greenbriar and walked three times back and forth to cover all the land between Greenbriar and the harbor. I see nothing - just an empty Eldan monastery and druid house. Please help!

Hello, I have noticed that there are long tiresome expanses on the game map where there is nothing, no NPCs, no Players, no resources... just empty space. Honestly speaking, it is a pain and a bore to have to move your character over those long empty expanses, and I would much rather spend the time ...

Tihgorac's quest

Hello,

I am stuck on Tihgorac's quest. He has asked for the return of his axe, which he said he lost in the marsh nearby. I have searched the marsh through and through for at least 5 times, but I have not found any axe at all. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Other games I have played always clearly state the effects of such important things as...
