Tihgorac's quest

Hello,

I am stuck on Tihgorac's quest. He has asked for the return of his axe, which he said he lost in the marsh nearby. I have searched the marsh through and through for at least 5 times, but I have not found any axe at all. What am I doing wrong?

Spoilers in small print.

You finish this quest by getting any axe and bringing it back to him and saying you have it. You need some entrails if I'm not mistaken as well (Mummies or any NPC drops them when killed). I've done this quest with other chars and I was quite surprised at the xp it gave in slashing depending on the quality of the axe and the type.

Apparently, I got some concussion skill from completing the quest. But the wiki says you are supposed to get slashing skill. Could I have gotten concussion any other way? I haven't used anything but sword and shield.

How do you know you got concussion skill, exactly? Secondly, I think the exp spreads evenly.

I didn't have concussion skill to begin with. I have only used a sword and a shield. Now I have concussion skill for some reason.

Yeah, I guess the xp from the orc is random. He could have given you a small amount of slashing and just enough concussion to make it a skill in your list.

Using a shield primarily gives you parry xp (when you see the shield blocking an opponent's attack). But, you can still get concussion xp with a shield equipped if your attacking an opponent (and with the right weapons. Concussion weapons include war hammers, maces, morning stars..etc).

As for your second question I have no clue what he gives exactly. I was always under the impression that he gives strictly slashing xp to newer fighters (hence the axe). It seems that he probably gave you some concussion skill and slashing skill at the same time with his "move".

He is in Varshikar, across the bridge. Just speak to him and ask him about finding his axe.

Well,....where are Orcs supposed to be? Head that way and keep your eyes open.

I would look there, but watch out for the kittens! LOL
