Background
Confusion...chaos raging in the mind...Insanity. Elaralith's mind had been plagued by this for many moons past now. The seed of this poison had been growing in her as far back as she could remember. In its first stages, this seed had caused her indecision...then agony...and now in its blooming - Insanity.
All her long life Elaralith had felt the pull of two opposing forces tearing at her soul...ever since the Beginning she had tried to walk both paths that these two forces pulled her to. No mortal could walk two paths though, and now the inevitable had happened - a Crossroad. Lingering at this Crossroad could only cause Insanity so now a Journey must begin...
Present
All was a confusion of color...until the echo of a voice calling, calling...a cool hand that sent calm throughout the body...a descending light that brought clarity to the mind.
Elaralith looked around trying to get a foothold on her surroundings. A Grey-garbed being stood before her. She swooned, but the strange being eased her gently to the ground.
Images coursed through her mind at the touch of the Grey-garbed one...strange, cryptic words drifted across her ears:
"Two houses...both warring factions...a fight for her soul...the favored child of one...but born of two...a mother wishing for return...a plotting father...estranged from both!"
Estranged...estranged...
"Finding a path...earning an entrance...or the moors..."
One part of the Message from the Grey one stood out:
"It is this struggle, this fight for your love that tears your soul."
Elaralith's mind was cleared yet she was still in utter confusion...wandering lost she stumbled upon a peaceful forest clearing and rested here. The stars wheeled overhead and Elaralith's eyes followed them as she immersed herself in thoughts of the Message...

Arkadia darted through the trees, finally coming to rest under an old fir. Panting, she wiped the blood from face and smeared it upon her leather armor.
"One more successful dwarf raid for the books" She thought to herself
Suddenly her eyes darted to the left. A nosie, she knew she had heard it. She grabbed her staff and silently edged her way to sound of crunching twigs and leaves. A figure walking through the wood. Tall, slender. Arkadia prepared herself for another encounter, but then suddenly the figure stopped. After moments which seemed an eternity, the figure's head raised and stared into the night sky. Arkadia studied the sillouette of the mysterious figures face.
"A woman" She thought
"An Elfess...familar yet..." Arkadia's thoughts ceased and a slim grin grew upon her lips
"Elaralith" She wispered through the trees, as she slowly made her way through the brush

Dair had watched from the hedge the elfess and woman in grey speak. When the the grey one seemingly disappeared Dair decided to follow the elfess that was still around. For the words that were spoken had caught is interest. As the elfess moved through the trees Dair followed her moving watching from many bushes away. He heard a slight snap of twigs deeper on in the forest headed for Elaralith as he had heard the woman in grey call her. Dair moved quickly into the under brush, his green clothes and hunting armor did not stand out in the deeper growth of the forest. Dair waited silently in the underbrush as the other person cames closer.
Gerhalt stood, gazing at the sight. His occupation, lumberjacking, had brought him to this place to cut trees, and purely by chance he had caught a glimpse of a halfling. As he slowly followed, careful lest the slightest bit of noise should reveal him, he crept after the halfling. Closer examination revealed the halfling's hunting garb, which blended well into the foliage of the underbrush. Not knowing where the hobbit was going, Gerhalt followed, mentally readying himself for whatever might lie ahead.

Dair saw the approach of now two elven ladies, both he knew one he recognized as Arkadia and the other as Moathia who he had met breafly earlier before. Dair decided to get a little closer to hear what would be said, but not being exactly invited Dair still staid in the underbrush as he crept closer to hear what was going on

Chuirion sighs as he tightens his robe around him. He walks through Trollsbane silently not knowing a certain destination. He wanders in a forest gazing. He begins to think of his past. He thinks of all that has changed in his absence when he suddenly comes back to reality from a few rustling noises from ahead. Chuirion walks towards the noise......
Athian stood in the forest as well; he’d heard a silent call, magic in the air all about him. A voice had ringed into his mind asking him if he was brave enough to step forward. And so he did. With his senses he could feel the many eyes in the forest and only wondered how so many random peoples came across the same scene as if it were taking place in the open, he dismisses the thought a moment later realizing that most of the spectators are useless and probably just nosy passer bye, ready to jump head long into troubles they didn’t understand. A very common thing in TrollsBane.
Well if they got themselves into trouble then he wouldn’t worry too much about saving them. He continues into the forest a bit more until he comes across the scene so many eyes are intent on watching there is power in the air. Familiar are some, like that of Elaralith and Arkadia, both of which he knows by the feeling he gets when they come about. The rest is all a jumble; even confusing to his advanced sensory. He sits quietly eye’s lightly aglow, as he uses his gifts to bring the sound of words to his ears and sight to his eyes. He waits to see what might happen and how and if he might act upon it.

The clanging of a sword abruptly being sharpened was heard from the workshop. Soon a swift grunt came from after the sheering. It was of course, Kasume. Kasume tapped the blade, and poked his finger in his mouth from the small pain it left. He sheathed it and began to sharpen the rest of his weapons. He was getting his things together for the normal hunt of skeletons in the woods, which he had not done in some time because of the commotion in town and his search for unknowns. He buckled his sheath to his belt, strapped his axe to his side, and latched his warhammer amoung his back. The strap lay across his chest. Banging in his armour he simply walked out. Immediatly feeling strange when exiting the gate. He heard a startle to the side. Saw a man's foot go running into the forest. "Who could it be?" He asked himself. The only way to find out was to follow of course. And exactly what he did. He followed the booted man and came to a clearing. He saw a large amount of people and sunk low into the bushes. Not being very stealthy he listened in. Wondering what it was about.

With the glass emptied Drathe returned it to the table, the reminance of sweetened brandy to be tasted on his lips, as the tip of tongue licked over them. None of the bottles to be served from the tavern bar ever tasted as good, as warm in colour or company to the pallet as that shared by the good Halfling Viola Thistle. She was like Brandy. Hands rose to rub his weary pink rimmed eyes. A quick and quiet night cap had turned as always into a good few, the quiet lost to laughter and flirtatious advances on women. ‘Another good night,’ he whispered to him self, taking the ladies hand and kissing the back of it farewell. The Carpenter would have said good bye to her by name only… what was her name?
The fire in the brandy had done his legs proud, steering them it seemed out of his control, as the doorframe was clipped with shoulder for him to spin around and continue on and out of the tavern. The cool evening air played his sense, a refreshing change from the heavy pipe smoke of but a moment ago. He inhaled feeling guiddy and flushed with drink. His walk home was troubled, people he was sure kept moving the path in front of him. The trouble with the woods at night was the trees all looked the same. A warm chuckle left his throat permeating his surrounding. ‘Just like Dwarfs,’ his words a humorous tone for his breath. A hand came to bear upon his head and scratch bemused where the hell was he?
A voice spoke out of the darkness not far ahead. Drathe’s eyes narrowed making darker the shadows against the shades of night. Was that a group of people up a head? Friends or foes? His nose wrinkled and sniffed boldly, what the hell came the reassuring voice of brandy as he stumbled his way towards them. ‘Ooaf,’ the carpenter fell to the earth floor, the wind savagely taken from his lungs. With a shake of head the fallen man turned rolling on to his shoulder, his breath whisping. A halfling, little Dair Essel was crouched to the base of a tree, Drathe had walked into and over the man as he looked to the group. Again the carpenters head turned looking to the few people he could see. They were friends, he smiled brightly taking in a loose breath at last. ‘Don’t worry, I am here, every things alright,’ he called out waving a hand up.

Arkadia edged her way closer to Elaralith, but then stopped. An intoxicated voice babbling about something...then another voice. Arkadia's eyes narrowed and she sunk back into the brush and pulled her bow from her back, readying an arrow.
"Is this a trap? Is this for me? For her? What foolishness is this?" Her mind raced with a thousand questions at once. She nestled in and listened as more footsteps approached.

Drathe looked up, a childishly warm smile easing over his lips. Mothias offer of a good slapping would on most occasions have brightened his eyes. But his ribs hurt, head felt guidy as the carpenter made to picked himself up, a weary groan showing his premature old age. Taking the offered drink, the top was removed and sipped. ‘By the gods,’ he spat, ‘it taste like pig swill.’ A piercing glance from the priestess over her should had him finishing it reluctantly. With that Drathe moved closer to the group leaning his weight against a tree. No point going home when the party was here.

Dair calmly takes his bow off his back and sticks three arrows into the ground and notches another.
"Now Kasume dont start this again, it is a very bad place and time for such an event to take place"
"Sorry for this folks but Kasume here is more than a little foolish"
Dair starts to listen to the happenings once again, an arrow still notched and one eye resting soley on Kasume

Arkadia watches the human an hobbit argue with a third party intervening. Drathe and Moathia, two rather unpleasent sights stood close by. Arkadia knew not what to think. Though these handful of intruders were unwelcomed, Elaralith seemed not bothered to the slightest degree by them. She raised her bow slightly and pulled back on the string, taking aim at Drathe's head.
"If this must turn bloody, I will at least take the one's life whom I hate the most." She thought to herself.

Diar unnotches his arrow and puts them all back into the quiver on his back. Dair walks bow in hand quickly and quitly towards Ark seeing that she is about to kill the unknown human.
"If you really want to kill him, it would be better not to do it when so many people are around to intervine" whispers Dair to Arkadia
Dair then gets into a comfterable squat position to wait and see what all will happen

Chews on a peice of bread as he lets out a sigh of relief watching Drathe and the commotion. He then yawns as he grows tired. Happily eating his little peice of bread. He notices that Dair is gone after a moment's notice. And jumps up.
"Where did the little one go?! Agh! I wasn't keeping a good eye on the twerp!"

Athian continues to watch the scene silently leaned up behind a neaby tree. Arkadia and Moathia have also apprently noticed the presense of the more or less annoying observers. He does not however make move to stop them, nistead he merely wheels his way around the tree. remaining in it's shade but now visable to the eye. quietly waiting to see what has drawn him out here and why.
