Sevious' cure...

He sits, staring unblinkingly at the fire place. His house, small but comfortable, today is filled with woe. He shuffles from the wing backed arm chair and the book he wasn't even reading. The past few days have wreaked havoc with his head.
Trying to supress what he's tried to do to Hagen is impossible. He even ponders something which he refuses to believe: What if Arkadia is really using him, just like Hagen said? Brendan shakes his head violently, trying to dispel the notion. Perhaps the fresh air will do me good, he ponders half heartedly. Opening a window, he can clearly see Crosis across the street, packing his bags, ready to leave. More woe outside.
He returns to the kitchen and unlocks a small cupboard. His eyes scan an array of bottles and drinks. He spots a particularly volatile bottle of liquor.


He downs it in one and returns to the kitchen to fetch another...

He awakes to the daily grind. The day progresses slowly and painfully. The night arrives eventually and before Brendan has a chance to down a drink, he meets the man he's been searching for. Afilakin. The man with knowledge of Seviou's cure. Brendan resigns himself to befriending the man, and both decided to find Moathia and search for the cure tomorrow.[/i]
