The majority of what attracted me to this RPG is the amount they've stressed the ROLEPLAY in the rules. I've been on too many Graphical RPGs that have that have that problem. (Runescape, Furcadia, etc)
My god... Furcadia was so painful!!!!
Anyway, I'm not going to get into that...
I've found, for the most part, that Text-based games such as MUSHs (Don't try MUDs. They lack roleplay as much as the others) are the only way to go if you want solid, character to character action, but there are so many bleeding commands!
So that's why I've decided to give this one a try.
Maybe it'll be like a MUSH, only with fewer commands. I don't know. I'll give it a shot, and all that.[/b][/i]

You will use your shift and ctrl button a lot. So get those fingers workin baby! You might also use the arrow keys for better walking capabilites (yes, I said capabilities...
)
Again, am I not wrong this is a MUD? I thought I read in the folder that this was a MUD. At icon it said MUDillarionclient. I could be totally wrong like I usually am though.
Furcadia was dumb. Runescape was fun for like 2 years. The only good text based game was Time Hunter and it didn't have role playing. The only amount of role playing experiance I have is D&D with my cousins, and Warcraft 3 D&D maps and Role Playing maps.
Illarion is making me better though.

You can do everything! make your own house and all that!
Illarion is the best!
Read all through the main site, you'll relize that alot of planned things in the game aren't relized yet, they even color code it!
@Kasume
Wow, I swear my pinky finger has grown 1cm from reaching over and hitting the shift,ctrl, and alt keys. Its great phalangical excersize if nothing else.
You the player can't build houses, yet. Also there are rules for building. If you want one there must be at least 4 players (not characters) who will share the building, or you must be part of a guild. Also, they seem to cost a lot, you'll need a hundred ingots, maybe more to afford a small building. Or do what Darlok did and bribe the town

Houses? Expensive?
REALLY!?!?!?!
Wow. Never would have though.
Actually, I find it encouraging that houses cost alot of money. It makes it more real to life. I mean, can you by a house RL for 35 cents and a tootsie roll?
Not only that, but it cuts down on the space required to run the game.
And Kasume, it is quite possible that this is a MUD with a graphical client to show pictures, similar to all those clients you see for the text based Rogue RPG that we all remember fondly in our hearts.
(Note: Please don't be offended by my sarcasm. It's my only joy in life.
