Wegen den Goldbarren

Ich möchte eine Frage los werden, die sich nicht nur mich interessiert. Also ich möchte wissen ob man später Gebäude auch mit Goldbarren bezahlen kann, oder ob es immer noch mit Silber abgezahlt werden muss?!

Danke im voraus

PS: Ich denke mal die Frage können nur GM's beantworten, also bitte sowas wie "jo, würd ich auch gern wissen" lassen!

In Anbetracht der Tatsache, daß es einen Umrechnungskurs gibt, sollte das möglich sein. Du könntest ja auch die Silberbarren in normale Geldstücke umrechnen und damit bezahlen.
Was für ne Frage.

Die Goldbarren sind als Ersatz für die Silberbarren gedacht. Es wird bislang nirgendwo auf der Insel Silber gefördert, deshalb diese "Umtauschaktion". Die Silberbarren bleiben vorläufig noch im "Kurs", werden aber nach und nach durch Goldbarren ersetzt werden.

Vermutlich wird es dann einen Stichtag geben, zu dem die Silberbarren ihren Wert verlieren und einer anderen Verwendung zugeführt werden.

Kann das bitte jemand kurz für unsere englischsprachigen Freunde übersetzen?

Falk, I think that it would be better if a completely new topic would be made about this. In the Newbie-board it might not catch enough attention.

I am not certainly the person to translate that, but I grasped what you ment.

What would be the exchange-rate of Silvers to Goldbars?
1 to 1? 4 to 1? Would 4 to 1 mean that a goldbar would have the monetary value of 1000 coins?

1:1, 250 goldcoins to 1 golden ingot, 5 nuggets to the same.

I made a translation, I hope it fits:

The gold bars are supposed to be a subtitute for the silver ingots. So far nowhere on the isle silver is produced, therefore this "replacement-action".
In temporary the silver ingots are still in "rate of exchange" but will be gradually replaced by gold bars.

There'll probably be an effective day, when the silver ingots will loose their value and get another function.
