A short stubby young dwarf walks up to the town walls and looks around the papers. Not being able to find any recent herb auctions he pulls out a piece of parchment and a quill and begins to write.
Dear surface dwellers and merchants,
I am in search of of Furnis blossoms and strawberrys. Also I'm lookin' fer sand. If there is anyone willin' to sell me these materials, please leave a little note attached here at the bottom of the parchment with yer name and how much ye got. I will make an effort to meet ye in person to discuss business but please leave a note with what ye have. This will make me happy for it will save meh bartendin' business. Thanks to all who can help and good day to ye.
Sincerely,
Croktin Skullcrusher
At this the dwarf pulls out his smithing hammer and a nail and bangs it hard into the wall above other important and older parchments. He walks away to return to his mining hoping that someone will show up with the materials he has requested.

I agree, it's best to save as much firnis as possible.
Idea, let's pray to Tanora. I certainly hope this would make this irritating drought end sooner, because of it, I can't train in arms. Regular food is scarce these days, and my body won't heal by eating due to my physical ailments. I must rely on the potions I make, but it's rather difficult to make them when you don't have the ingredients.
I doubt there's going to be herbs by the shore, although it would be logical with the water so close to the land. But with our luck, the shore will somehow be dried out too.
