Scrapbook of Special Items

Having been inspired by reading the new Chronicles section for Illarion, I have decided to make a scrapbook of all the rare and special items in Illarion. It will include not only actual game items, but any items that were created by the imagination of the players themselves. But only serious items will be included and perhaps should have already been mentioned somewhere before in the hisotry of rpg board. Stupid things like "Paul Laffing's green banana" will not be included.

If anyone has any suggestions for items to be included in the scrapbook please try to include the following information (if applicable) here on the boards, or through a PM to me:

-Name of the item
-Some description of the item and its origin
-Its current location or where rumored to be
-A picture

Try to include all these things if possible, but if not, don't worry about it.

Nartak, your infos concerning the mirror are wrong, completely wrong.
Nobody has ever said mirrors are good to speak with Drahken or to summon monsters.

- dont use it just for fun - maybe strange things may happen

There is no picture of it - but it looks like a tulip and a bit like a red rose.

Are any of those pictures of rare items genuine. I think the brown potion and spoon are, as well ast he trap, but I am not sure about the other ones, howver.

the pictures are real-and you forgot about the dagger thing i use as an avatar- i ahve a picture of all teh rare items on the bottum of the Bargen Master price list

The most unique Item is "Hopfen" (dont know the word in english) ... Only Tialdin and Badmosche own this plant...

Hopfen is "Hop" in english. I looked up the definitition and it says, dried ripe flowers containing a bitter aromatic oil. They are used in the brewing industry to prevent bacterial action and add the characteristic bitter taste to beer.

It also says that its the slang term for opium...

Someone, forgot the name, had a website that had pics of Moshran's (I think, could've been Drahken's) armour.

i find it very disgusting and boring that the pictures of this items are posted here.

It makes more fun to find this items in Game and it destroyed the surprise and the fun etc if you show them all here. By the way, it is completly sensles to descripe this tools. Remember your Chars cant read the forums and still doesnt know about it.

Keep the secrets of Illarion and dont post them and destroy others the fun. (sorry for my bad gramma i hope you know what i mean)

The best would be an GM delete the complete thread.

Send the descriptions to me again through PM please, Nartak.

If there is someone who knows about a certain item, and they decided to share their knowledge of it, then it is likely that their character shared this information to with some people and the rumors began to spread through Illarion anyways, and so someone just writes a compendium. I suppose the pictures is the drawing of an artist, but maybe they don't need to be included.

I don't think it ruins the surprise anyways, because there are still hundreds of items in Illarion that we don't know about. These are already some "common" rarities that many people have seen before and know about. Besides, it is not guaranteed that every picture or discription is actually true. Many are just rumors after all...

Besides, I'm looking for more real special items that are not actual in-game items so if people have a picture of them from somewhere else, please send it to me too.
