Partial screen

Post by Miliae Alquaria »

My friend, Faytenya, recently got an Illarion account. However, when she logs in, all she can see is the minimap in the corner. She tried installing DirectX 9.0a and redownloading Illarion, but it still does it. We haven't tried new video drivers yet (and if you knew how big of a hassle it was just to redownload Illarion, you would understand why not).
I haven't really found any other posts with this particular problem. Any suggestions?

This problen can happen if a few files are missing or corrupt.
Redownlaod the client und go for sure that all files are in the same folder.

Windows 98, AMD MMX 1 GHz, 512 MB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 3 64MB

Already tried resinstalling.

Don't ask why she still has Windows 98.

that sounds like you made a shortcut without setting the path to run in...
try starting illarion from the folder you extracted it to...

her screen may be small. My friends laptop requires you to move it the mouse to a certain area, making it sort of scroll over, to see the rest of the screen.
