2 questions on pking

1). Who are the most common pkers. This will help me know who to stay away from

2). Is assasination a good rp reason to pk i mean if you are rp a assasin and somebody paid you to pk somebody would that be a banning offense

As the word "playerkiller" said, it is the player, who like to kill with his char the chars of other players for fun.
This isnt permitted by server rules and everyone who likes to do this will get banned!
Playerkilling is not a ingame action of a char.

If a char has a reasonable roleplaying reason to kill another char, that is murdering or taking revenge or something else.

Reasonable means, that it is logical in the history of the char, that he acts so and it is made visible for others, that the char has real reasons to murder another char.

Well, if you a halfling and I am launching a war against halflings or "pecks" I would be a playerkiller for you... So stay away from Grant Herion if your a halfling.... Other then that I am ok.

this should be something you find out in-game, your char shouldn't know everything you do, besides things with the rpg board.

@I didnt ask who all the pkers were i asked who were the most common

@If you were rping a assasin both here on the boards and in the game and somebody paid you to kill a person would that be a banning offense because like you said before no reasonable pk is a banning offense is assasination reasonable. Because techniquely you are not the one who needs a good reason you are just a hired sword.

ps could a GM please reply to this thread it would be greatly appriceated

It is very difficult to say who are player killers and who aren't.
This is more an in character question anyway, it's like you wish to know who the most common criminals are.

Besides, I don't think any of us are just going to chop your head off. Without a role play motivation, the person who does this, is very likely to get his or her arse booted out the door very quickly indeed.

As to the whole assassin thing. PLEASE, please do not become one. It is quickly becoming an Rp cliché in Illarion for people to be hired hands or assassins-be more creative. You could be a sheep shearer, or the lunatic who lives in the abandoned lighthouse.

All you need is your imagination...(and account acceptance))

I have never said i would be an assasin but the thought has crossed my mind and i always look into new ideas

The person hiring the assasin must have a reason to kill the person. I'm afraid the only way to learn is to ask questions, or experience things for yourself. Ask around in game. Well if I walked around and had my head chopped off I would be dead, uhh ok your point? One thing you must relize is the difference between reality and fantasy, something alot of people cannot do for some reason.

Basically the thing to remeber if you're thinking about becoming an assassin is A) Make sure you are RPing B)Make sure the one who hired you has RP reasons to have the person assassinated C) Multiple killings, no matter what the RP reasons, is illegal. D) If the assassinated retaliates and makes attempts on your life make sure you inform them that you had RP reasons to kill them, so they don't think you're a PK.

That sound about right everyone?
