Brendan, having read through the Historical pages of the MoonSilver Scrolls, comes across an interesting book.
It is entitled, "Mungo Mwargen's Very brief History of The World." Flicking through the pages, Brendan realises that the information within is patchy at best...and that Mungo must have been an historian, before present times. He decides to read the book, for the fun of it, and see if he can gleem anything interesting from it.

A Very Brief History of Trollsbane.
Part1
Illarion was conceived of Beings-Divine in their own divinity, without divinity in their own divine way. They were known as the Elder Gods and they gave birth to Child Gods.
In their totality they were all mentioned as: Ushara, Bragon, Eldan, Tanora, Findari, Nargun, Elara, Adron, Oldra, Chergra, Malachin, Irmorom, Sirani, Zhambra, Ronagan, Moshran. They crafted the world and left or loved it.
They gave birth to creatures to inhabit the islands of Illarion…
One isle in particular became abundant in beasts-demons, beholder beasts, rats and demonic scorpions, due to the activities of the corrupted Moshran and his servants Ashkatuul and Drahken-the unholy trinity.
Other beasts grew on the isle also…they evolved due to magical circumstances and absorbed the Gods knowledge, applied to their own use. These creatures were of particular interest to the Gods and they decided to mould them further.
They became known as mortals as opposed to the Gods-immortals.
They were; humans-large dexterous beings, kind of heart but quick to anger.
Dwarves- short beings, knowledgeable in all crafts with a sense of humour as quick as their emotions. Hobbits-beings with grand hearts that belie their short and stumpy bodies; excellent farmers and even better drinkers. Lizards- cold blooded and oft emotionless creatures, they are mighty warriors and fiercely loyal to their families.
Orcs- In the earliest of times, Moshran is believed to have altered their appearance to match their evil souls…but this is nothing but conjecture. They are, in present times at least, brave and noble warriors, spiritual leaders and great allies to have-be it in the tavern or in the battlefield. Elves-magickal entities, loyal, brave and noble. They live among nature and are often the target of demonic possession, due to their purity…
The beings lived and warred together for many a century, until a little group of people decided to…..
Brendan Mason falls asleep from reading the book and ???? picks the book up from the floor to continue reading…
