WHY DO I GET KILLED SO MUCH?!

Post by Shoni »

My Character, Brumba, is a nice little hobbit. He has never raised a sword to ANYONE other than his friend, in training. But it seems everyone is always killing him. Yesterday Neizu killed me, for laughing at him, I think is what he said. I wasn't laughing at him. I said "splendid show!" to a duel I thought was just for fun. It turned out that he and a another dwarf were fighting to the death! I didn't know. And he killed me for it! Where is the logic behind that? But that's not the best part of it, I got killed again today. This time there wasn't even THAT MUCH reason. Maktan and some human were fighting. Obviously the Human started it, he kept telling Maktan that he stank. So I just tried to break it up by talking to both of them and asking what was the problem. Well The human turned out to be stronger than Maktan and almost killed him. Then for some reason the human killed me with a distance weapon. I don't know why, but there I am, a little puff of smoke. Isn't there some rule against a strong character just abusing his strength by killing little hobbits who wear NO ARMOUR? And also, I don't know the humans name. But I have his number, it's 35735. If any of you know his name let me know please.

You should check your Keyboard, the Caps-Lock seems to have serious Problems. Either you repair it, or buy a new One.

If you have Problems about your Characters Deaths, and you play a "peacefull" little Hafling, why do you always send hin into Troubble?
As far as i could read your Text, your peacefull little Halfing seems to be attracted when somebody fights.
If you (your Character) dont want to die, stay away from sharp Objects.

Brumba was making a statement using the caps Darlok.
I think you are just in the wrong place at the wrong time Brumba, my advice to you is if you see trouble brewing walk away, it is much safer.
I think you are the one to stay away from sharp objects Darlok you can hurt yourself and that would be a great shame!

Shoni,

You see some people fighting, they're all ready ticked off about something and mad as heck, leave them alone.

But it isn't right for a humsn to attack him. he should be punished or at least a hard lecture from a gm. Image

Your right, the Human should not have attacked you, but than again you do know your not very strong so you shouldnt have gotten involved. In doing so you provoked him, so yeah....

You have to understand they are trying to play the role of their character.

If they are in the heat of a battle they do not take too kindly to a pesky little peck coming up and butting their nose in.

If you are peaceful then go the other way if you see people fighting.

But then again the human (me) didnt attack him, it was Maktan who attacked him for the sole purpose of trying to frame me.

And Maktan does stink.

I think this is more an ingame problem...you can seek justice ingame too you know. (It seems to me your killers did not break any server rules)
A hint: You are a peaceful halfling and you do not want to die? Act like a rabbit. What does a rabbit do when it sees anything? Run and hide, don't stick around and try to act the "judge"...

My character can get angry quite easily, especially if people call him things such as " Beast " Or " Monster " . Luckily no silver has been used on me....yet!

Elaralith speaks wisely.
If you want to judge people, you need to make your word worth something.
If you cannot, do not get close to swinging blades.
