Greetings, I have just recently applied to this game and I'm just waiting for them to send me a reply back. I was wondering which type of person seems to be a lack of (such as carpenters, etc.) I was thinking of either being a carpenter or a farmer. What do you guys feel would benefit everyone the most?

Well I haven't been in the game for very long, but I can tell you that there are very few good carpenters. There's a reason for this however. Carpentry is said to be the HARDEST skill to master. I have worked my little orc fingers to the bone trying to make good wood wares, and I come up with nothing. If you're going to try to be a carpenter you probably need to have another vocation to fall back on if you fail. What's your second choice? Farming eh? Well there are a lot of farmers, but it seems to be a relatively easy career. And people make money quickly in it. So how about you do both? Illarion is all about Role Playing, so be a carpenter who farms in his/her spare time. Or the other way around. The best part of the game is it's extremely open ended world. You can do whatever you want. Good luck on whatever it is you persue and if you make master carpenter before me (you very well might do that) then how about you take me under your wing

Sounds like a deal to me. Perhaps maybe I could learn from you and with you about carpentry, I will surely look for your name when (or if) I get on. By the way, is Shoni your in game name?
