The desert

People of Trollsbane, I fear dark magic is in the air, this recent heat wave, has caused the desert to expand, it has grown by about a quater of it's original size, patches around the desert have been turning sandy, one very close to the town, the water holes near the desert have been drying up, I fear the plan of our enemy, is to kill all the plants and animals on the island, and dry up, all the drinking water, making it impossible to live, we must find a way to stop this at once.

Yes, I saw the desert too.....I do not like this at all.There has been a lot of strange things happening recently.

The heatwave, the desert, the animals vanishing, fires all over town....

People will panic.steal from others..it is a great trouble on our fair island.Some great evil is afoot.....

The temperature is increasing... the desert expands...and the waters dry up! I do not know what this foretells...but I know that one thing: Provisions must be made at once! All who can would be best put to obtain many buckets and fill them well with water and store them in a place where they will stay! For if things are to reach a new level, we may not survive unless we have provisions. Water we all need...so I urge all to see the need and store it well!

I urge everyone to get water, food, and potions. Noneone except the gods know how long this will keep up, so be prepared!! Practice your fighting skills too and get good weapons and armor, we will need it!!

why will we need to train fighting and get good armor?
It will be so hot sitting down will make you sweat, fighting or another physical activity will probbaly kill you.

You shouldnt go around saying things like an invasion is going to happen, you dont really know. For all you know all the recent happenings are but bad wheather. I can understand telling people to prepare themselves for anything, but do not run around like a chicken with its head cut off predicting things you could not possibly know.

To me Freo these are signs that SOMETHING is going to happen... Lets look at the facts.

1. Animals have disappeared.
2. The town has been attacked several times.
3. The drought that is occuring.

This is a strategy used in war. First take there food supply out... Causing people to become weak from lack of fresh meat. Not to mention raw materials such as wool. Then after we have become even weaker they send monsters to test our strength maybe try to overcome us if they can. Well after failing at trying to kill us with there minions, They magically make the weather cause a drought. Which causes us to become EVEN weaker from lack of water, and vegitation. These is something brewing mark my words. Who or... What it is I dont know. But best prepare yourself now. We MUST solve this riddle before it is to late. Be safe everyone.

Hm...sounds to me what could be going on is a Civile War? maby..I don't know yet since I am a non-imhabitent at the moment. The monsters sound like they are tired of seeing,smelling,hearing you...and they want the island to themselves...just a guess.

Part of me thinks that the reason for these recent happenings, is due to us. Notice the more people fight, the worse things seem to get. Maybe I am just ranting, but perhaps the gods are punishing us? Its just a little theory I came up with now, probably not right at all.
