New objects

Post by Faramier »

Beds, would be good for RPing ilnesses or even just going to sleep, amongst other things

Weapon rack, perhaps just for decoration or perhaps use as a depot like thingy

Blade sharpeners, a possibility for fixing old swords or even making swords do more damage.

Furnace, at the moment iron and coal are magically smelted together and hammered into objects in the air.

stove, like a campfire, but permanant and can be used inside houses.

Yes I am aware that this takes alot of work on behalf of the programming and designing etc etc, but no one expects anything overnight, just some idea's that you may want to implement someday.

When you say blade sharpeners i think that is a great idea but what do you mean by that? what kind of bladesharpeners? I think it would be a great idea if there were smaller portable whetstones that didn't work as well and those round sharpening stones that worked much better

How about poisoned weapons?

These might be good, if they add a poison system. Only small things (Daggers, Darts, Arrows Etc) Would be poisonable..and maybe druid skill to make?

Well...I kinda doubt you would be able to do it but.....maybe be able to make a golem that did basic things for you, like fetch water?

I know you probably can't do it...but maybe you would have to have high skill to make the body, then a high skill to animate it, and then make it so that it can only do one job ever, so you can't just make one to do everything for you. And maybe make it so you can nly have one. And make them break after a while, and need body repairs AND to be recharged magically?

Don't you think these proposals are quite obvious?
The fact that I and many others have already suggested them in the past help you?

Rynt,
You said we need Golems? Isn't that making Illarion TOO MUCH Magical and fantasy. I know there is fantasy creatures but I say there should be a limit.

golem? so you want to be able to make things that work for you...pointless. also there would be alot of issues with ai and things.

OK, Rynt, think before you post, golems? The monsters cant even walk all the way to town without someone leading them.

Blade sharpeners, either a spinning wheel or a lump of stone that could be used with the sword to sharpen it.

Elaralith, that post wasnt useful so i'll consider it spam. Yes they may be obvious but I for one like to bring things like this up every once in awhile so the people that wernt here when they were first proposed can discuss them.

Poisoned weapons, eagerly awaited.

Exactly this attitude brought this Board to the point where it would have been almost closed.

Dont, Never, In no Case bring ever up anything obvious.
Beds, Ovens, and you other Furnitures are very obvious.

Guingalan,
I find it ironic that you point a finger at my post and falsely accuse it of being "spam" when your post that started this thread really was spam in that it brought up obvious, already said items. Please listen to alarms like the board moderators, Darlok, and I who are trying to get people like you to stop spamming the Proposal Board.
