In the era that the game takes place in, they would have had archery contests and many other things like that.

I was thinking maybe they could have short competitions with like a nice new bow as an archery prize, a cool sword as a swordfighting prize Etc.
Maybe like books as a spellcasting prize, or some nice new runes?

You are perfectly able to do this in gmae at the moment, all you have to do is get off your arse and organise it

The Hobbiteers are organizing a festival now. Games and competitions will be included. Eventually we will have sign up sheets available for games and contests
