We send a newsletter as soon (i.e. minutes after the update), as the update is out, so you'll get up to date information. The newsletter will be mailed about every three weeks to announce new versions. You can remove yourself any time from the newsletter list.
So why don't you just sign up for it on the main page?

last update (about 5 weeks ago), next when the next update takes part (hope tomorrow)
