Petition to the Don

[Juniper Onyx]

On behalf of the citizens of Galmair, we request the Don please open elections for Chancellor(s) of Galmair to any who are qualified to run for the position. They must be a citizen, at least Patrician Rank, active and loyal to Galmair.

With the influx of newcomers, the residence of Orcs, the increase in trade & crime and activity in Galmair creates the need to have one or more officials that can act on behalf of the Don and the Hand to operate the day to day activities of the town, authorize security of the streets, reduce crime, mediate concerns of citizens and deal with other realms. Runewick and Cadomyr both have officials that are easily available and approachable, and we should have one or more likewise.

We ask the Don to reopen elections for the position of Chancellor or Chancellors as we have done in the past.

As a former Chancellor, I will abstain from these initial elections. I do not currently qualify.
