A Letter for Oxiana or the Don

Post by Juniper Onyx »

~ A Dove arrives at the Don's Palace and likewise, another Dove arrives at Villa Malachite carrying the same letter~

Hail to the Don and his left hand!

On the 1st of Eldas, the rent for Syrita Estate was due. This was a mistake on my part, in which our Guild worked so hard collecting and building that we lost track of the time. We have barely finished the first floor of the new Guildhall. We apologize for any contrary words that may have been vented at your Tax Collector, as he approached us after a Hard Day's work and disrupted what was an otherwise beautiful day in the shadow of the Nameless Mountains!

WE would like to renegotiate the terms of the Lease at Syrita Estate at your earliest convenience. We believe a drop in the cost of the lease would be beneficial to both parties and ask to continue the Lease under lower rates.

Our Guild, The Chamber of Commerce, is the leading Educational and Trading Guild in Illarion and believe that it's continued operation and advocation for increased trade in Galmair only further fills the taxes for Galmair, makes the residents happy and creates more visitors from other realms who come to Galmair to trade, spend their coin and contribute to the Wealth we all enjoy. No other realm can boast the variety or quantity of "high quality" products our guild is able to offer customers. This is due to our continued mentorship and advocacy of crafters of all types and traders in Galmair. We even collect Coin from Runewick and Cadomyr through trade regularly and bring it to Galmair.

With the new Estate Guildhall at Galmair Harbour, we plan to increase activity there, easier trade to other Harbours and other lands, while assisting future entrepreneurs start their own businesses! Galmair thrives on activity that generates taxes and coin and we believe our Guild, and especially this Project to build, helps facilitate this. There is no better place for a Guild like ours than Galmair!

Please return this dove ((Reply here)) with your response and offer. If accepted by our Guild, we will be happy to continue to work for the betterment of Galmair and the Don. Thank you.

Always your loyal servant,
~Bernie Bottoms, Former Chancellor, Guildmaster & Grandmaster Craftsman x5
