Dear mages of Illarion, dear interested parties.

Word has probably gotten around that a so-called Rod of Erlick was found during an expedition to Pauldron Island. It is a rod that has special properties thanks to a magical measure. Now it is not only this magic used on it that is of importance to science but in particular a disturbance of this magic residing in the rod and the elimination of this disturbance is of much more interest, because it has been shown in the past Mas that it has turned once advantageous magic in this rod to a disadvantage.
Cartaphilus and I would like to present to you the status of our research into the Rod of Elrick, as well as a planned investigative ritual that we would like to discuss together.
We would especially like to invite the local mages of all cities and freeholds and we repeat our request to support this investigation.

All those interested in this topic are also invited, as well as those who would like to secure us during the planned investigation ritual which will take place in the wilderness.
