I came to this place hoping to build a home and settle down.

Maybe open up a shop of some sort.

I would probably put my house in the forest.

But the shop needs to be close to town to get customers.

I believe the best place for a house is on the very edge of a cliff 8)

I would take the trees that I cut to clear the land
and use the wood to build the house.

Nothing is wasted.

well i know one thing i cant stop you from building it there when you can......but why not have a cave for a house.....then your not cutting any trees down......get a shovel and hammer and dig yourself a nice big cave

Take rocks out from under the house if you build it on a cliff. Very efficient and money saving. I know! Build it on the cliff above the town center that always has many people in it 8)

How about building your house above a hole filled with venomous snakes, only held up by pieces of paper.
