As the title states. Could the devs implement a key to abort the current targeted attack?
I noticed today when fighting in the battle especially how fidgety it is to untarget from battle and try to gulp a potion. It's very cumbersome with all the mouse scrolling etc etc, especially if your target has ran away from you and is hidden behind other avatars. I didn't mind it so much before but if there are to be more battles and my character has a strap around him covered in potions I wanted to use, it would be really great.
Thanks for listening. And please do not think I am bitching - I enjoyed the battle alot. I just think this is a design flaw rather than anything else.
Instate a key to abort attack (like b for bag).

I talked about this during Mas too. I'll look into trying to make it happen.

Edit from beyond lock: Just so clarify why that Mantis issue isn't directly for the feature requested, I wanted to explain. If I keep adding hotkeys willy-nilly and assigning them to increasingly random buttons (really, just what -is- the best button to about an attack?), then it can hit the point of making the interface more difficult instead of less. I don't want people to be unhappy because I picked a button their laptop doesn't have, or that they accidentally press frequently.
Therefore, I will first give the control over to the players and -then- I will add more fancy button support.

This would be great to have.. since it so quickly on Mantis I'll close. Let me know if it needs to reopen.
