Language, Part II

Post by paul laffing »

I want to know what languages everyone speaks just for my own reference. I am also curious of the german to american ratio. (Could someone please translate this message into german for me?)

What?! Both option didn't register, so if you speak both, just pick your native language.

I speak german mainly.
But the german/american ratio isn´t possible. I think we have many players from the U.K., Asia and Canada here. So this poll wouldn´t show you how many people are from the USA (not America, America is more than the USA  ).
Better ask who speaks english, german or both. Or even other languages.

I also speak a "petit peut" french.

This poll is going to be English dominated... those that speak only german might not know what you are talking about... Just a thought.

Cuderon Translated it to Deutsch. And looking at the polls, you can see that.

If you mean both by "other" then it would seem so. "Other" tends to mean things not in the líst, and is usually in singular. As both german and english is in, people just choose their mother thongue...

It would have been better to say "Which of the following languages do you speak while playing Illarion" and have options "English only, German only or both"
