A great search
A tired, old man stumbles into town. He is a stranger in these lands. The only words he says are "laffing."

Elaralith is walking by the shop when she sees the old man through the window. Extremely concerned at the man's state she rushes into the shop..."Oh my...Elara save us!" Placing her hands on the man's head, she utters a quick prayer to Elara. A shaft of shimmering light seems to descend on the man. "You need rest. Help me get him to a bed, quick!"

Paul Laffing pulls out a book that he always keeps close to his heart and starts reading to himself. He looks up and shows Elaralith and Fooser a picture that looks like the man in his younger days. "I knew I would find him! I had my doubts, but this proves it is true. This is my great- great grand uncle. ((http://www.illarion.org/community/forum ... ?t=3892)).He is 350 years old!" Paul proclaims excitedly.

Bumbol walks into the room and finds the old old man lying in the bed sleeping. The old man looks beat up. The hobbit talks to paul and finds out about the old man and finds out he was alive in the time of grandildoria. Grandildoria was the place in which hobbits were enslaved. Bumbol wants to ask so many questions to the old man, but he must wait until the old man is ready. Bumbol pulls up a chair and smokes.

Elaralith busily adminsters to the old man, ignoring the various arguments around her. "Hmmm, I think some hot medicated soup will do you well. Elaralith hands the old man bowl of hot soup that gives of a fragrant herb aroma." Elaralith seems mildly surprised at the comment of Grandildor being of 350 years. "Three-hundred and fifty you say? Strange for a human to be so on in years, but then many queer things are known to happen..."

Grandildor awakens and thanks everyone around him. He sees Paul reading a familiar book and asks to see it. He wipes a smudge from the page and say,"I am over 500 years old, boy. Take better care of this book, for i remember it well." Grandildor then gets out of his bed and walks around to stretch his legs.
