Invitation to the Marriage

~A new parchment could be found among the Cadomyrian board, bearing a familiar narrow, fine handwriting of darkblue and black ink.~

• I have previlege and honor to finally announce the wedding of Sir Guy Mitchell de Tobosa and me, Josephine D'Gemmifus.
  
  Elvaine Morgan, Archmage of Runewick and all that owe him allegiance are dearly invited.
  Also Friends and subjects of our Majesty Rosaline Edwards of Cadomyr would honor us with their presence.
  
  The date of the marriage is the 18th of Adras, beginning at midday. Her Majesty will hold the ceremony as Her deeds are the will of the Gods.
  
  For those yet unsure of the protocol, a short reminder:
  

  Before the ceremony everyone gathers in front of the Cadomyrian gates. Bride with bridesmaid on the left, groom with best man on the right. As a friendly competition between the two marrying houses, the ones who consider themselves guests of the bride, shall wear a coat of black. All who come as a guest of the groom shall wear one of blue.
  
  Once everyone has gathered the couple will be escorted to the Temple of Zhambra by the Royal Crimson Order, followed by all guests.
  
  Anyone who wishes to hold a speech or just say some few words shall speak then. Traditionally friends of the couple use this as an opportunity to offer gifts to them.
  
  Now the time has come for bride and groom to speak their oaths. The groom, who´s words carry more weight, shall speak after the bride. After the oaths have been spoken Her Majesty will ask, once again first bride, then groom, if their words have been their will. Which traditionally is agreed, before Her Majesty formally seals the marriage in the name of the Gods.The bridesmaid removes the brides coat in the colors of her old family and best man and groom dress her in one of her new one. What formally ends the ceremony.
  
  Following Salkamaerian customs the bride will throw a bouquet into the crowd of guests. It is said that the girl catching it will be blessed by Sirani for her own marriage.
  
  After the ceremony all guests invited to the Cadomyrian tavern to celebrate. The freshly wed couple will attend for a while before retreating to perform their conjugal duty, if Her Majesty generously waives Her right for the first night.
