~Our purpose~
Having received explicit support and consent from Her Majesty, the Crimson Order of Cadomyr is hereby established. The Order aims to institute an organization of warriors, mages, and craftsmen to collectively further Cadomyr. For those whom deal in combat, we institute order in the field and fair distribution of wealth and rare equipment. For those whom deal with tools, we institute an organization of materials and resources as well as trade with other communities.
As of the 19th of Malas year 39, we were made the army of Cadomyr and her Majesty. Our responsibilities revolve around recruiting and training members of our order to be part of her queen's army, and commanding our combined troops alike (Including guard members and citizen capable of bearing arms), as we lead them into battle and victory for Cadomyr against any foe we should be at war with.
Our responsibilities used to include guard duties, however clear lines have later been established to show that the royal guard of her majesty have now fully taken on the responsibilities of our defenses. Be it guarding our boarders, or preparing defenses for an oncoming attack directed at Cadomyr, should it be the forces of Mas or some other foe. The Crimson Order does however still carry the responsibility of aiding in such an offense, just like any citizens capable of wielding arms would be.
~Pillar of Prestige~
Under one Grandmaster/Grandmistress four ranks make the foundation of the Crimson Order’s guild. Initiate, Sworn Member,Senior Member and lastly the Leaders. These ranks shall be the members’ path through honor. Lowly shall the Initiate be, but not without voice and eagerness to prove one’s worth. Then shall the Sworn Member hone his skills to better himself as well as the Order and Cadomyr at large and in the end, by way of right and responsibility will the Senior Member take his or her lessons and begin the call of leadership. Equally beneath the Grandmaster/Grandmistress will the Leaders of the Crimson Order stand as heralds for the sweat of their brow and unwavering dedication has earned them the right to governor justly. As the Crimson Order carries the responsibility of being Cadomyr's army, in times of war our grandmaster/grandmistress and leaders should be looked to alike for leadership in combat, by citizens and order members alike.
~Province~
As iron sharpens iron, so shall the Crimson Order work to sharpen and aid each other. Swordsmen by nature shall not be above craftsmen nor vice the versa except in the case of prestige. With balance the Order thrives; how can the warrior thrive without food to enforce his success? Yet the same how does the blacksmith craft to the best of his or her ability without iron to mold? It shall be the Order’s paramount focus to comprise an armory unparalleled to any other guild and build an internal trading company to exchange wares for the betterment of our members. Opportunities to serve and advance are vast within the Order and equally rewarding. The founding members’ vision is to train, encourage, and challenge each member to reach their maximum potential.
How this is accomplished:
1. All aspiring members shall meet with no lower than a Leader of the Order to discuss their vision and be evaluated. In this process individuals will receive recommendations from the ranking official. Of course the aspirant may choose a different course within the guild but that is at their own discretion.
2. Depending on the evaluation the aspirant may be disregarded, added to the lowest tier of the Pillar of Prestige as an Initiate, or those more seasoned in their trade may be welcomed as Sworn Members.
3. The Order can have endless Provinces of vocation and members have the right to choose a singular path, on the opposite extreme a Jack of All Trades, or anything in between.
~Ranks of Prestige~
Initiate: Your primary responsibility is to prove yourself worthy of the Order given your chosen Province(s). Initiates are certainly more likely to receive charity from guild members but are not entitled to any benefits from the Crimson Order. Seek your superiors’ approval and find ways to strengthen the Order: collecting necessary raw resources, becoming proficient with a weapon, willing to listen and learn, keep your honor, or certainly do charitable deeds for Cadomyr. Initiates also have the privilege and opportunity to enter into apprenticeship with a Leader. Should you be proficient with a weapon, you are expected to follow our leaders to battle in times of war
Sworn Member: You are a trusted member of the Order and though your skills may not be mastered you have shown honor worthy of the crimson cloak. Your goals are to continue honing your skills, learning the techniques of success established by the Crimson Order, obtaining a capital rank within a Province, unselfish civic duty, maintaining your honor, and gaining favor in Her Majesty's eyes. Sworn Members are eligible to access the Armory. Should you be proficient with a weapon, you are expected to follow our leaders to battle in times of war
Senior Member: You are a seasoned member of the Order and highly respected. The Leaders and Grandmaster/Grandmistress above you trust your decision making and depending on your Province are tasked with more responsibility. This may include field command for lower ranking members or setting up trade contracts to increase the wealth and esteem of the guild. Your duties are to understand leadership and begin to train and mentor lower ranking members. Time served, honor, and charity are all that keep you from being a Leader. Senior Members have increased access to the armory, are able to join missions and excursions as they please, and are able to invite Initiates on missions and Excursions. Should you be proficient with a weapon, you are expected to follow our leaders to battle in times of war
Leader: You are the voice of the Order. You have honed your trade skills to masterful levels and are capable of leading, decision making, and expanding the clout of the Crimson Order. You will shape the future and maintain the pride and honor of the guild through any means necessary. Your status in the community is that of a noble and in all ways you know the inner workings of the Order. No benefit is withheld from you and you may invite Sworn members on missions and excursions, and as well take an Initiate as an apprentice. At times of war, you are expected as a leader of her majesty's army to command her troops in battle, be it order members, guard members or citizen whom have volunteered.
Grandmaster/Grandmistress: There is only one and that shall remain to give supreme balance to the guild. Your voice proves as the great equalizer in any debate or conflict within the guild or by members. When issues need judging the Grandmaster/Grandmistress shall be the sovereign.
Otherwise the grandmaster/grandmistress shares the responsibilities of their leaders below them.
Within the guild only a Leader or the Grandmaster/Grandmistress may bestow rank within the given Province or Prestige. There may be rare cases where a leader gives permission to a Senior Member to train a lower member if the Leader is on leave or by direct approval of the Grandmaster/Grandmistress. Below are the loose guidelines for Prestige ranking.
Upon becoming a Sworn member, each aspirant must prepare their own oath with the following guidelines
-Loyalty to Cadomyr and Her Majesty
-Loyalty to your new comrades and the Order
-Swearing your goals and aspirations of your chosen province.
~Prestige Ranking~
The core values of the Order are the same customs that the Queen enforces in Cadomyr, all members are expected to abide by the Queen's Customs. For the focus of the Order, the following Cadomyr customs are paramount.
Faith: Worship the Gods, they alone are true and almighty
Obedience: Loyalty to the Queen, our monarch is absolute.
Honour: In all things act with honour. It is your right and duty to defend it.
Truth: Keep your word and give no false testimony. The strength of your word measures your worth.
Justice: In all things be fair and just; Never steal, offer your friendship freely, but do not spare your enemy the sword.
Courage: Fear is not permissible. Stand in for your honour and sovereign.
Property: Your property is your own, and none have the right to take this from you.
Responsibility: In all things you are bound to your deeds. No matter the intention, you are to answer for them.
Along with Cadomyr's customs, our Pillar of Prestige is also guided by the following.
Duty: Performing various tasks to further the guild, Cadomyr, or individual skills. Some examples would be resource gathering, training, missions, and serving Her Majesty outright.
Skill: Both a subjective evaluation and tangible assets will give proof of your skill in a desired Province or trade. Skill must never be forgotten when trying to gain rank. Those that take their profession seriously and hone their skills will find much Prestige and honor.
~Province Ranking~
Education: The Crimson Order strives for excellence in all professions, and therefore aid will be given to ensure we are performing tasks in the most efficient and safe manner possible.
Skill: Once again skill can never be forgotten especially when profession depends upon it. How could you ever call yourself a Master blacksmith if you cannot even forge a chainmail?
Each member is expected to retain all secrets of the Order.
