Some parchments

Post by Caynwyn »

A parchment is at the bottom of a ladder hanging from a strange platform in the middle of a wooded area of Runewick. It is addressed to someone called "Kitten" and on the outside of the parchment it asks the bearer to please deliver it to him.

Kitten.

I fell in a hole near the castle of Runewick. A very large nice person helped move me to this place. I am not quite sure where I am but there are pigs and some kind of slime things running around. It seems like an island. I have decided to just rest here until you get settled from the ship with the children. Don't worry, I am safe up here and have a little room to move around.

Love,
Cay

Cay's parchment has disappeared from the ladder.

As she lay down to sleep Cay had a very strange dream. A tall, dark man came by.. and without a word saw her parchment then picked her up and took her to someplace safe. Later after waking, Cay wrote in her journal before tucking it in her depot so she could tell Felix all about it.

Sitting at a desk late at night after a hard day's work gathering herbs, Cay takes out parchment and pen then begins to write.

Felix,

I hope doves can find you because I have no other way to send this. Give my love to the children, I know they are in good hands with you on the ship. I miss you all terribly and wish that ship wasn't so slow! I have some sickles from Oxi so will work now on making potions. He and his wife could use some...I would first like to find a health potion. Hopefully the gods haven't changed the recipes too much. I have seen Vel here, Orren, and met a blind woman called Sheila if I remember correctly, but haven't offered to look at her eyes...I wanted to be circumspect in that regard, some people are very sensitive to their blindness. I also met a very nice man called Chester, and told him about you and the children but he can't seem to understand why you aren't here. He is a little slow but has a big heart...I think he needs someone to watch over him so will keep an eye on him.

Love,
Cay
