* A Halfling hammers parchment here and there*

Post by Po Will »

A small Halfling goes from building to building in Bane, Hammering in official looking parchments into the walls.
I remember being asked that, if I don't want the town of Bane to thrive, then why am I on the council? I couldn't help laugh at this simply due to the fact that I spend almost all of my time, helping, giving away free goods which I could charge for, thus helping the population; therefore, helping the town thrive. Sure, it's led to my own poverty and homelessness, but to Hellbriar with that.

I'm saying all this in hopes to make those who are in the town guard, or those hoping to be in the town guard to stop and think. The wages have been talked about, and it's safe to say that they wont go without anytime soon if they stay vigil in their job. Though, I write this to ask them, and those who would be a guard to think about the town before their own pockets.

At the moment, I want, and I think it's safe to say that the rest of the government wants to build up the land of Bane, to erect ( Tirrend may stop and laugh here ) buildings in the bare land. But to do this, we need money, we need gold, silver and hellbriar, throw in some Copper. If I were to suggest that a building for the guards would become a thing of reality, would some guards let some of their pay slip? Would they, as my mocker put it, help the town thrive?

I suggest that the guards for the moment, put their money towards helping our town and land devolep. What greater joy can one have knowing they helped bring about a grand town, a town they apparently care deeply about.

So, will you, the guards of our fair town, help the town, and surrounding lands thrive?
I leave that up to yous.

In Nargun's name,
~Sere~
